ye nah, Poles are not Slavs, you are a divergent side-branch like the Lithuanians. That third consonant shift only confirms that Lechtic is not Slavic.
In light of this breakthrough, I suggest that the West Slavic group be dissolved and that Czech, Slovak and Czecho-Lusatian get included into a Central Slavic (as in Central Europe) subgroup along with Slovene.
