lol

so basically no appeal unless you're a Scaruffi drone? got it

Storytelling-centric songwriting that stretches across everything from humorous character sketches to intimate documentation of failing relationships. What's not to get? He has an evocative voice and the Bad Seeds have always been a great match for whatever he's doing at the time.

Not liking him I understand, but his appeal is fairly obvious.

Piano driven rock with enough of a post-punk feeling and interesting enough vibe to make it stand out from similar acts. At times lyrically interesting, funny, beautiful and heartbreaking. Has a cool baritone voice

If you don't like him you don't have to my man. Personally Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds is one of my top five bands of all time. But I'm an Australian who's been listening to him since I was a 7 year old so there's a lot of deep nostalgia and feels for me when I listen to the old stuff my parents loved.

If you've heard Let Love In (the album) and don't like it at all, then just move on. There are probably artists you adore that other people don't like either. Shit's subjective, yo

Oh also, 'How Do I Into Nick Cave?' chart I made last year. Need to update it with Skeleton Tree and also amend it a little but it makes sense

A lot of shimmering ladies of a certain demo find Nick Cave irresistible and if you want to harvest that power you should follow. It's interesting that there was a time when Cave was accused of misogyny, but I feel like he has transcended in the eyes of the press and is just purely appreciated for his music.

Bleeding workshy Australian. Australians never do any work.

beetlejuice?

Why work when you can just chill and race Commodores all day? No one really wants to work.

Underage spotted

get with the program. turn up, log on, grind out

Listen to the birthday party

But what if you didn't have to? What if you could just escape it all forever? Just fuck off and live an existence where you aren't leeching but you aren't living for anyone else's benefit either? With Commodores.

He doesn't believe in an INTERVENTIONIST God fucking normie REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

this

You really do, his work after the Party is more laborious but it is more tame than the raw insanity of albums like Junkyard and Prayers on Fire, where Nick sounds like a complete lunatic.

>you have to be '''mature''' to appreciate nick cave
