Does anyone else just listen to the same handful of albums over and over again? Listening to anything new for the first time is just so draining sometimes.

if you like either of these fat fucking whales you should kill yourself

I bounce around stuff already in my collection. But it does get stale. I haven't listened to anything new since 2011.

Lmao is that current Lexi?

Always been fucking trash so makes sense she would stack gains

if its an artist I already like i'll check it out. but since 2014 I've been just revisiting my library for gems I didn't like on the first couple listens

MY SWEET LEXI HOLY FUCKING CHRIST AOUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>anything new since 2011.

ugh, was in a phase like that before. you better get some new stuff in the mix before you start not liking the classics

unless you like meme rap, probably best that you haven't heard anything since then desu.

new albums require effort, but old albums give diminishing returns

that's the struggle

Generally, when I have a day off, I'll listen to 1 new album for every 2-3 albums I already like.

I think it's kind of important to do so if you want to keep a healthy interest in music. When you start giving in exclusively to your comfort zone, bam- you enter old man back in my day mode.

I'm the complete opposite. I'm always looking for that high of finding something new and exciting. It's getting harder and harder...

When did Lexi Belle become Taco Belle?

OMG SOON I CANT BELIEVE IT OH FUCK

jenna sativa is hotter than lexi belle

The problem is that everytime I listen to a new album I don't like I feel like I should've spent my time listening to something I already liked.

so very sadly true

I'm getting older, and it's getting harder. I have less enthusiasm every time I venture back out to try out new artists.

t. virgin

that's because you already "get" the new artists and see how derivative they really are

...

I go through phases. Sometimes I'll go months without really listening to anything new, but eventually I'll get bored and start seeking out new shit

As a result of this though I always feel like I'm a bit surface level with my likes, not totally basic bitch but I'm not one of those people who can reel off an entire chart of obscure gems. I tend to spend a lot of time getting to know albums. But the albums i do like, I generally come to love, so it's not all bad. I think if I started a rym my bell curve would trigger the autists cuz I'd just be giving everything 7/10+ :^)

Anyway tl;dr it's not a bad thing to stagnate every now and then, literally the only people who care are Sup Forumstants, the bottom rung of society

I'm like that with classical music

lexi belle probably takes gigantic shits nowadays

>tfw you've heard plenty of albums you like from recent years, but none that you love
>you can't easily find the time to listen to a new album all the way through
>you're not sure if you don't enjoy listening to music as much as you used to
>or maybe you'e just getting old

I'd like to rub my testicles against lexis belly

I feel you. My biggest problem is music on the road. I run recreationally, four times a week, 30 mins to an hour each run. I have an old ipod that I use while running, but it's borked and won't be recognized by computers. So I rotate between
>Mad villainy
>Mew- And the Glass Handed Kites
>J5- Power in Numbers
>Jeff Ronsenstock- We Cool?

The last time I was able to connect it was when We Cool? was new.. 2 years ago, was that? I never want to hear Mad villainy or Kites ever again. But I still love them. It's just diminishing returns.

I should get a new mp3 player.

start making the music that you want to hear

Cliche though it may sound, start smoking. Unless you already do. Always feel sorry for people who were getting high from the start. I didn't start til I was in my 20s and it totally renewed my love for so many albums. Sometimes it's literally like hearing em for the first time again.

how's the left one "fat"?

DUDE

>they will never straddle your face and suck your cock
Why even live?

This is like one of the few videos I have saved on my computer

I've been smoking for a year or two and if I'm high enough I always get that first time vibe, its magical. On dream queen rn, have listened to Gem by US Girls 50+ times but it feels so new and amazing. I remember though the first time I smoked (for real, instead of a couple hits at a party or before tennis, like two people and a whole blunt) I listened to This is Happening and it was like I was feeling the album for the first time

>that video

10/10 pretend-kino

how is she not m8
her BMI must be at least 25.4

lexi bell lol more like baco tell

lexi belle aka taco belle

Wow, this distorted view. You must be a ultra skelly

...

Who is Lexi and why is it bad that she looks like that? I thought americans are supposed to be fat.

Listening to new music is hard when you don't speak the language in which it is sung. Resources in your language will praise the same dozen albums and leave you in the dark about a fascinating scene. Send help, and an interpreter.

kpop is shit

I agree.

I find myself listening to the same shit when I drive. Only when I'm home do I actually listen to new shit. And if I like what I hear, album wise, I try to listen to it when I drive, replacing whatever albums/bands.
Like how I was on a Modern Baseball repeat, now I'm onto Anhoni and Beach House.

>two people and a whole blunt
Unless youre rolling oowaps thats really not much

that bitch on the right is fat af

anyway, yeah i feel you OP. 50% of my listens are from my top 5 albums. i have to force my seldfto like new music nowadays

We had like no tolerance though and two grams packed in so it hit pretty hard

if you can't handle this, you don't deserve to call yourself a man

that's a lot for two people with no tolerance

I found that I can basically listen to my favorite albums at any point and not be tired of them, but I don't want to fall into a hole of not discovering new music and circlejerking the same thing. Makes me feel like an old person reminiscing if I do that. i can always go back to the old stuff whenever I want to anyways.

Thicc Lexi best Lexi

kpop is la shit de la shit

Kpop is the sonic equivalent of excrement, what do you want?

holy fucking shit she got big
lexi taco belle lmao

this literally just happened to me and it was the worst feeling ever. All summer I was busy working so I really only cycled the same albums I found at the beginning of summer. When I got back to school I sat down and started talking about music and recent releases and I felt so fucking out of the loop. It was awful.

There have been times where I only listen to one band for about a 1/2 year then move on the the band members solo projects. Some stuff does jump out occasionally though, but not too often.

>trying this hard

I agree!

t. American

Some of my mates have about 5 different artists with different albums to show me every time i meet up, like once a week. Its quite annoying, people spend so much time diluting their library and constantly trying to discover new music, they forget to appreciate the stuff theyve already come to like. I just find discovering music so tedious, so much shit to wade through but it does feel good when you find something you really like

Low test beta

???

sauce?

Hot and Mean, Jenna Sativa + Lexi Belle

>tfw you're the only non edgy vanilla taste 18y/o who thinks new lexi is an improvement

This.

Brilliant shit.: soundcloud.com/vvasa/fjoh24-11-16

>Hey The Needle Drop!
>Michael here!

...

>liking fat cows
why is this allowed?

>if you can handle a fat whore
>wanting to

bump

people keep forgetting this is Sup Forums where everyone is gay and low test shut ins

"s-shes not even good looking h-hAHA, im way out of her league id totally deny her if i ever got my first change with a girl with her"

>sarcasm quote posting

>you have to fuck disgusting "thicc" fatties to be a "real" man.

Fuck off you disgusting cuck.

>tfw you finally get around to listening to new music but end up going back to repeating your old favorites anyway

I honestly got to the end of this thread and forgot what this whole thing was about baka.

always assumed that's what most people do

Yes, I also can't stop smoking weed. Stuck in a loop.

Also would smash both

Sauce

Who's on the left?

what the fuck do you people do here all day if not find new music and listen to it?

oh yeah, you dankmeme and shitpost all day about stuff you honestly have no fucking clue about since you're no longer participating in the culture.

people like you make me sick

reminder that the vast majority of normies just listen to the same songs/albums over and over again

if you actively seek out new music to listen to, you have autism

plump lexi is best lexi

I listen to new stuff all the time but lately it's mostly jazz which seems a bit different somehow...it's not really songs so much as open ended noodling, and there's something comforting about the fact that the albums themselves seemed to take almost no effort to make, they just went in the studio and ripped. Miles Davis for instance recorded four albums over a couple days just to get out of a record contract that are now considered classics, lol.

This is why 99% of old people have shitty taste in music. There's like a 5 year window where people are able to get into new music, and from then on it's pining for the glory days. I fucking hate growing up in a generation that thinks of the mid 90s as THE GLORY DAYS.

The reality is that this decade is proving to be the greatest musical cornucopia the world has ever known.

There are probably more great 70s rock albums in each year of the 2010s than there were in the 1970s. Same with any subgenre you care to name.

Just like, start abusing a new drug or something. Whatever it takes to kickstart your interest.
