probably missing some vital ones, but I dunno. Make sure to check TinyMixTapes Eureka! list, they got good control over these type of releases.

Oh damn that's a hell of a list. The Laurel Halo is the only one I have heard from it. Will check out. Thank you! Giving the Eureka! list a peek I wish they had a way to further search through the albums by like genre or something since I recognize some stuff I do dig (Drumm & Lescalleet's Busman's Holiday) and some that's meh (Beyonce's Lemonade)
np
i was told once that it sounds like washing machine music and i think that's a pretty apt description
res appreciated
i want to get in auterche, any suggested albums?
sexy chart, listened to shabazz palaces?
You're welcome.
Yeah, it's a little spotty; demands some digging, but most of the releases mentioned in my list is included there as well. Although I just did it by memory, so if you're willing to do some digging you can probably find some more.
Actress is one I missed. Check out R.I.P.
Part of me honestly has always wanted to bring like a jackhammer or some portable form of a washing machine in a live setting and make it work somehow.
>how to into Autechre
I'd definitely recommend going in order since your chart's got a cool enough variety of music to support that. Start with their first LP, Incunabula and go from there. That first LP of theirs will give you feel similar to Chill Out and maybe Replica and Computer World (super comfy.) But their music gets more experimental from there. For example on their second LP Amber there'll be a slight techno feel with how much more they mess with their percussion, on their third/most popular Tri Repetae one wonders if its techno or ambient...you keep going and like by the sixth album they are a fully experimental electronic group that continues to try different things/push their particular form of experimentation forward. And that aspect of their music you'll probably like more from your perspective as a Shabazz/Sun Ra/Kenny Wheeler perspective because of how unconventional it can get.
Pretty good off of just memory. And yeah I already fuck with Actress. Fantastic stuff.
Thanks. Ah, nice.
also, I appreciate that you stay around and keep the thread alive. Good answer to that question about Autechre as well.
thank you so much, that was probably one of the best responses ive received on Sup Forums
already heard just got back from... and i think it's great
Yeah dude. This is probably my first Sup Forums post in weeks; life's making me busy and I have decided I really am only just gonna post in chart threads to get some recs. But I don't wanna be ungrateful either and give others recs/keep the topic alive, too so there's none of that pointless starting a new chart thread when there doesn't need to be one.
Np. Like the rest of Sup Forums, there's always great things to be found underneath a lot of shit.
tfw worst taste itt
Need personal, emotional music to obsess over
