Earl Sweatshirt

I've recently started to get into Earl Sweatshirt. And songs I should listen to?

kill yourself

Grief
Chum
Hive

those are his most popular tracks and most liked

Hoarse

IDLSIDGO >>> Doris

Solace is the most beautiful thing he's ever released and transcends whatever projects he's put out before. The EP's only 10 minutes long, however it's still incredible and hypnotizing. Doris and EARL are similar, but not too interesting, and I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside is probably the best album he's put out. It's only half an hour long so it's worth a full listen.

it aint even hip hop bruh its just ambient
listen to i dont like shit, earl and doris in that order

Pigeons, dat ass, hoarse, chum, couch, hive, fyc

If he had mixed/mastered this to album quality and made it the last track on I Don't Like Shit, that album would've gone from a 7 to a 9/10

He has like 2 albums man just listen to everything

Any other rappers who frequently rap about depression?

IDLSIDGO

His music is so mundane. I've tried listening to his music in the past but I just cant get over his unenthusiastic delivery.

Damn you edgy as fuck

>listening to music

start from doris then move to earl and then idlsidgo

You should hit up Domo Genesis

epaR

That's why I find it appealing, his music is just so moody, depressing, slow, sad.

I know a lot of people won't enjoy Earl because of his style of "uneventful" rap but it just puts a lot more focus on his lyricism.

Start With EARL
Then go to Doris
Then IDLSIDGO
Then Solace

Or vice versa if you want to start off depressed

>bruh
Opinion discarded

This is my favorite rap album of all time. And I'm not afraid to say that.

A nice fucking summer vibe Id'd assume to be perfect for mid-June Cali, literally no filler (inb4 that one instrumental track, features are excellent and complementary to Earl himself, and it's as chill as it is bone-chilling.

I'm not really an earl sweatshirt fan
but I like Grief
and I like Tyler the creators song "fuck it" which casually disses earl

Tyler, Kendrick, Isaiah Rashad.

IDLS>Earl>>>Doris
Earl was made when he was 16 and very immature and crazy but still a great listen
Doris is pretty mundane and made when he returned a more mature man not sure how to balance his new maturity with his old immature friends
IDLSIDGO is really dark and serious dealing with his depression and alienation of others,a great short listen
All his music currently is just over an hour so you might as well listen in order
