i hope my retarded phone doesn't post the pic sideways
Also r8

Looks like Łódź without old buldings but with sun and Mexican flags.

comfy/10
Cleveland sucks, don't come here.

Also a question.

Why the Japanese never post here? Does that mean they're all proxies?

I like the one with snow

...

Sorry for the shit quality but I dropped my phone and I'm using my old one for now.

Pushkin near Petersburg?

>Does that mean they're all proxies?

Yes, almost every single one. The rest are mostly tourists and expats. Very few actual Japs post here.

>Pushkin near Petersburg?
Not even close, look ~3000km to the east.

Well poland is the mexico of europe except no good food.

>Christchurch
Nothing left to photograph tbqhwy

We are shy.
so,I don't want anybody to know where I'm living desu.

Your town is lovely.

Dam you guys are worst than gophers when it comes to showing yourselves.

Looks like Pushkin. I think it might ba a neighbourhood nowdays but when I was there it was a separate town.

It's not like someone will find you in your 1/2 mil city because you took a pic of it's center/outskirts.

ty :3

Didn't you have a earthquake yesterday?

Kinda sad desu

We had a massive on that destroyed a lot of the city 5 years ago, and last week a large one caused a lot of damage and killed 2 people. They're relatively common, there was one a few hours ago, really minor but still noticeable

I'll be honest with you. I felt like one earthquake in my life that had it's center near Kaliningrad and was super small. I felt the everything "sway" a bit, it was a funny feeling but I'm wondering if you can get used to it and actually build something that can resist big earthquakes and if you can't why live in places that have those.

>living with other people nearby

I know horses are beautiful, majestic and all of that but I fucking hate them for some reason.

so which horse are you?

Do you unironically consider yourself as a bigender horse?

I'm not American.

Kostroma. Upper Volga.

Some of them are little more than swaying, but some are really violent and they still freak me out

Why haven't commies destroyed that shiet?

...

You took that picture?

Ah, so you can't get used to them.

pls stop

Because it's Putin's architecture.

Yes. It's summer pics. I'm being lazy to take today's pics.

...

...

...

...

...

The only photo of my city that I have is this...

...

Wooden houses must be fucking cold.

Thanks. You don't put the energy lines in the ground due to earthquakes, right?

...

...

Socialism ruined a lot of places, ey? I got some of those in my city as well.

Not intending to. I knew you were just a juggling tool all along. But at least I had the manners to not show it before you got what you wanted.

Comfy as fuck.

I just did quick search for the matter.
It's mainly because of cost and difficulty with maintenance.
Earthquake could be one of the reason but idk really.
Ministry want to enhance undergrounding though

I wish I had my old cell though. This one takes shit pics.

Earthquakes would tear up the cables and digging them up after would be super annoying while you can fix the ones on poles faster.

Some people just are so important it's worth all that work.. but how do you expect them to not turn arrogant when they realize it?

...

>there are crocks in that water
A-are you ok?

...

>floodings

They are Brisbane 2011 flood pics. Natural disasters excite me.

In order to prevent, the cable under the ground is loose and could withstand tearing up to some extend.
Those poles are dangerous too as they may fall down.
But you're right too, once it's tore up, it's way harder to fix.
Conclusion is earthquake is shit.

downtown of my town

Well I think they'd have to be put inside some sort of tubes and be loose but yeah earthquakes suck hard, I'm happy we don't have those, only a small flood from time to time or a tornado.

I'm confused.

how can I clear things up?

Door te vertellen waar je die proxy gevonden heb?

...

post a bigger pic you took

Looks cosy and very cramped. Are there places that sell different kinds of ramen and gyoza there? :3

Good that your cunt has no reason to leave lines up sky.
I really hope we can overcome with this problem. Landscape without lines is too beautiful and attractive.

I'm not using a proxy.(I google translated what you said)

I didn't take this pic but it's of the same area, taken from the opposite side

Yes, every alley way in Japan actually has many restaurants, you could spend all the day there. The end of that street has an outside yakitori stand which is why there is so many people.

dude...

Well some places are too expensive to dig the lines in there here. For example the city knows that if they started digging the archeologist would jump that place like a pack of wolves and instead of a 2 week work it would last 1 year because they always find something.

Plus the tram lines always go on the poles.

Nice :3 I'm visiting next year can't wait to get my tummy stuffed with good Japanese food in a proper local place and not a tourist trap.

What's the windmill called? Looks like a fake one.

Question: Why do Russian churches/cathedrals look really Muslim/Arabic in design?

are you ok man?
I don't know the name. it's a hotel and a I think a restaurant also now

I took the photo almost a year ago (26/11/2015), that winter was beautiful.

What part do you go to? Most restaurants are local, but they are sometimes expensive.

they have those domes because a monk a long time ago said god was going to look down on russia and see that it is the best because he will see bright gold domes or something. they are that shape because snow falls of them easier than a western style dome

>Russian churches/cathedrals look really Muslim/Arabic in design
Elaborate.

Tokyo and Itsukushima because I'm dumb, lazy and got no idea where to go in Japan other than those two.

Ahhh makes sense, thank you.

The pointy domes. and Gold balls and what not. Reminds me of things from Aladdin and stuff.

We got dutch windmills as well. Although those have been build by actually dutch two hundred years ago or more.

Eastern orthodox made these desgins first and then islam happened and stole the desgin modified it a bit and replaced the crosses with the moon symbols

Sorry for google translate, can't be arsed to do it myself.
>
The first Orthodox churches in Russia were built by the Greeks and were shaped like a Byzantine church. Domes of churches were in the shape of a hemisphere or spherical segment. The symbolic significance of the spherical dome is the idea of God being perfection and fullness of divine grace, abiding in the Church. Russian masters, who have learned from the Greeks, significantly changed the shape of a dome, making it a helmet-shaped. This form, along with the idea of the fullness of grace, contains in itself a symbol of the aspirations of prayer to God, overcome the inertia of the flesh, vigorous movement toward the sky.
Only in the XVI century domes of Russian churches take the form of a bulb, which is almost universally replaces the helmet and the hemisphere. Most likely, the distribution of the bulbs caused by purely technological reasons and due to the problems of strength roofing compounds, protect the interior of the temple against the ingress of moisture.

That translation seems to be really really good are you sure you google translated it??? Or does Russian translate that easily.

Sorry for the dumb questions, Thank you for the answer.

we have lot's of fake windmills around town. my town got most of it's population from dutch immigrants during both world wars and they settled here because of the similar land and climate.
here's a house someone built a few generations ago. it' still used

Construction is annoying aye :(
Which part of Poland have tram? Tbh, I love trams so badly.

Not my picture but from my city. Those are our trams.

15 cities in Poland got trams.

Holy shit that house looks so clean, unlike some typical commieblock.

>are you sure you google translated it
I would not be able to translate this in 3 minutes even if I wanted to. Google did a good job this time, unfortunately it happens rarely.

Are tiles on buildings popular in Russia?

Thank you!
I think I have to put Poland on my Europe traveling list.
Town itself is lovely too. So western to me.

Students doing student things in Mälaren lake.

Np. you can see everything here in like 2-3 days Best part are the old places, the marina(pic related) and all the castles all around the city. Hope you'll enjoy it if you decide to come, just keep in mind that summer or the pre-christmas time is the best time to visit.

Nice. How many drowned while drunk?

As in: it's not a good thing but I'm wondering if accidents happend.

Brisbane dust storm.

None. There's a rescue boat with a scuba diver or two, everyone on the water wears a float vest, no beer or other substances on the water (on land is okay).

If too drunk, they'd swim over to Warzaw and sack it.

Most soviet era mass-produced buildings looked like pic. Just plain concrete panels, with occasional painting or "decorative" tiles thrown here and there.
Modern houses looks much cleaner and generally better btw.

I'm going to travel this time next year.
It's impressive that many castles are old buildings still exist. I'll definitely go and enjoy :)

There's quite a lot of them. If you want to see castles there's no better region in Poland.

I love these old buildings. America doesn't have any

They're nice, I like to visit the museums from time to time to see the changing expositions or go to a knight tournament to watch people in armors bash each other with steel sticks.

*castle museums

Also it's fun to spend a night there from time to time since some of them have hotels in one of castle parts.

>people in armors bash each other with steel sticks.
WHAT? are you serious? they have those? oghn that's so cool.
