I'm not a fan of the people depicted as I find them too unimportant (Dag Hammarskjöld and Astrid Lindgren are exceptions to this), but I do like the look and feel of the notes. I r8 it 5/8, m8.

I really like the 1/10 and 1/2 yuan bills. They are so small it is fun to hold them. The rest of Chinese currency is pretty meh.

I don't like the 1/10 yuan and 1/2 yuan notes
They're almost worthless and end up taking up a load of room in your wallet.
The 1 yuan ones weren't that bad because when I'd go to the shops near where I was staying I'd just pay in 1 yuan notes and get change in coins, or I could easily get rid of them by paying for my fare on the metro as well as the fare for people I was with

Scotland and Northern Ireland are special snowflakes so the banks there print their own banknotes and the banknotes are still in Pound Sterling.
The Bank of England gives Scottish and Northern Irish banks a few of these and then they print off a couple of hundred million in their special snowflake notes
