Description:
"Bummer jams about a loved one's alcoholism and attempted suicides."
- First Thought Worst Thought
First Thought Worst Thought's Buried in the Bed is a blur. In a metaphorical sense. The blend of shoegazey folk and hazy, blunted lyricism, filtered through a lens that borders between consciousness and drunkenness, gives the listener both a feeling of rest and restlessness. In that, there comes the beautiful blur.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give First Thought Worst Thought some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Wanted to show off three tracks from my current project: I'm writing/recording one song per day, so keep in mind these we're made in about 2 hours from start to finish.

"I Don't Think We've Been Here"
Mathrockish with some prog influences. Mixing is bad during the chorus, if I ever work on this song again I'll work on it.

"Hidden Lullaby"
Soft flute/harp song, something you would probably see in a video game or something. Very peaceful.

>The Funeral Of
The Funeral Of is a solo piano piece in three movements, inspired by a once re-occurring dream (or nightmare) involving an anonymous barn house suicide and subsequent closed-casket funeral.
>The Dragon (Remastered)
The Dragon is a solo piano piece in three movements, composed like a story and meant to be a musical representation of love and loss, happiness and grief, stoic life and beautiful death.
>Psyberia
Psyberia is an improvised electric guitar rhapsody layered over a field recording of suburban night wanderings with plundered radio recordings. Everything was recorded, mixed, and mastered in one three hour period.
I listened to faction of deer on a solo road trip over labor day weekend. it fit well with southern Wisconsin at night. im kind of excited to know, now, that there's a new album

that's cool man, hope you enjoy the new album
also, I just finished listening to The Dragon and I really enjoyed it. It would be cool to hear these piano pieces played on an acoustic piano
Cool stuff, you should throw all your stuff onto a cassette for a full length release.
this is fucking dope. entirely. recc as hell
this is really cool. was this played or programmed? combination of both? either way, well composed and I enjoy it a lot.
this is great. downloading. reminds me of Stranger Things, though I see this came out long before ST's release, so that is really cool. good stuff.

You really have a songwriting and singing talent.
Perfect for a quiet evening listening. Remember me of the best Red House Painters, Cat Power...
Keep doing it.

Amazing math-jazz pieces! You are really a prodigy if you play all by yourself.

Really good album, in the same mood as Codeine, June of 44...
Hope you are doing many live concerts around there and beyond.

There are fine moments in here, it seems you know how to do this stuff, but I feel the sounds/timbre are
too unpersonal and similar to a lot of today music, perhaps it's part of the genre and this is what you are looking for.
There are nice sudden change in tonality, tone and tempo that are interesting.
The mastering seem very loud to me, but almost certainly this is part of the genre.

from noise general bandcamp thread I made just now
I personally released this today for the 15th anniversary of 911.
It expresses various feelings and events that transpired these past 15 years, mostly what we choose to ignore.

NEW SINGLE!
>actually mixed and mastered
>lo-fi indie,indie folk,midwest emo and more
hey guys, i'm looking for an industrial/noise artist that was featured in a bcg last year or so. the artist's name or logo was related to an animal, i think, and the music carried an anti-christian message, sampling a christian hate speech about gay marriage in one of the songs. any help would be much appreciated

>sounds like if The Fall's songwriting and abrasive tone met the slow, emotive tone of Duster and then received a dash of Unwound for good measure
this is so clean sounding. top tier production and engineering. the playing is also superb. i love how the album shifts and goes from the tense first song to the calm, surreal second song.
the music itself is great (you nail black metal on the head), but the narcissist aesthetic comes off as stupid and unpleasant
lattice collective
i've loved this ever since i checked it out last week, BIG UPS
this is kinda boring and im not interested in it

This kid I work with made this. He always tries to get me to give him fees back. I'm tried of telling him the same thing every time he makes a new song. You guys rate this
fav Sup Forumssicians, hope you guys get far.
As above, but 2 lo-fi voices at the same time really breaks the mood of the song.
At least for me keep it simple in that regard, waiting for more new stuff mate!

pd: your stuff is way better than the shitty electronic that usually get posted in these threads so keep it up senpai

sort of hard hitting weird electronic stuff
some critique would be good

the aesthetic of your bandcamp is cringe, but surprise! the music is great. I can see people jamming this while playing pvp games (the production is great). keep it up (and please change those covers and colors, if you want more people clicking on it).
thanks, but yeah I sort of thought that myself too. Got too carried away with the black and green theme.
