Is this a new meme or something?
Whats a new meme? Do you not think it is?
Yes
Not a genre
why would you bump such an obvious bait thread
>french house
>hip-hop
>psychedelic rock
>pop
>experimental jungle
>drum n bass
>ambient
>tech house
>hip-hop
just fyi
All produced with electronic instruments.
They're more interesting than circlejerking over the same artists and albums Sup Forums did yesterday and the day before and the day before....
>ELECTRIC guitar
Amplified, not a pure electronic instrument.
Are you new? They really aren't since these sorts of threads have become almost a daily occurrence as well. It's just some turny wannabe trying to start shit. Yawn, can't wait for a "you wouldn't say string music is a genre!!!" commenter to show up.
You wouldn't though.
RIP Turny, so sad but inevitable at his age
>you are now about to witness the strength of /bleep/ knowledge
none of those are /bleep/

It's not the best. But it's sometimes dismissed too early.
Acting like 'electronic' is some umbrella genre name is fucked up. That'd be like asking "is guitar the best genre". Don't be ridiculous.
I despise electronic music, but there's one band I respect - Kraftwerk. And that's because they were pioneers.
youtu.be
lol trolled
there are really only two sub genres of electronic music
>good electronic
>bad electronic
>And that's because they were pioneers.
That's pathetic. You like music for context not for the actual sounds. Poser.
Kraftwerk are great, regardless.
I meant to say that them being pioneers of the genre was one of the reasons I like them. Their music doesn't sound dated now and probably won't sound dated decades from now.
They weren't pioneers, electronic music was first being recorded in the 1940s and produced even earlier.
>Their music doesn't sound dated
I'm aware of that, but they were the one that made it big.
Care to elaborate?
Their music sounds really, really, really dated.
