Virtually every manga has furigana and many easy light novels have a lot of it as well.
I want to start consuming Japanese media but my Japanese is just not good enough yet. I wish I could access some Japanese childrens' books
If we start caring about the non-Japanese speaking consumers, we'll stop producing something unique.

i got an anpanman book but its fucking annoying because it has no kanji which makes it harder to read

the manga I try to read are seinin manga which pretty much assume you know the jouyou kanji

this is the first japanese book I was able to read without assistance.
anyway, happy reading, small steps and you'll get there in no time.
Well, the specific manga I'm trying to read right now is 「お休みプンプン」which is kinda notorious for its very... abstract nature. It's absolutely written with adults in mind, so furigana are there only for the obscure kanji and names.
fuck it I guess I'll buy a naruto headband and start reading some shounen manga.
