I'm sure there's better but it's the one I find myself coming back to the most along with No Now

didn't like it desu

best bro-pop album maybe. but 4/10 at best if we're being honest

Fag

...

It's probably my favorite pop album of this decade thus far.
It's pretty catchy and easy to come back to.

Yes.

>bro-pop
what

Are they the Radiohead of 201X?

nope

Considering that radiohead is still making music, no.
I did read somewhere that Bastille is the new Coldplay because they used more guitars on Wild World.

They're the modern day Talking Heads tbf

No Now

I don't get it

Just for No Reptiles, I'm going to say yes.

step aside plebeians

On of these
Or pic related

Listening to this album for the first time at this very moment
It's fucking amazing so far

Come on boys. You should all know better by now

No

...

Either of these 2 are an acceptable answer for me

Slows down on the second half, but after a few listens, I can confirm second half is best half. No Reptiles best song

No, not even close. It's a good record though.

Some of my favorite artists put out albums last year. This still beat them all out. Great, fun album.

either Get to heaven or Carrie & Lowell

best album of 2015?
no.

best album cover of 2015?
yes.
best album cover of 2010s?
yes.
best album cover of 21st century so far?
very likely

This album is so so SO good, which is all the more tragic considering so few people will actually hear it

cmon pat, pls stop deleting your bandcamp pages
I want to support but all the pressings are sold out :(

Holy cow, guys. I cant take it anymore, this album sux so hard. It's bloated and the lyrics get old before it's even over. Just annoying.

THIS--is the correct answer.

...

Ha ha ha, no.

>Please enter your password
jesus christ

Very true.

>literal imagine dragons tier pop rock
what

this is a contender

finally someone gets it. new album apparently out in october btw

I realised that the unique things where this album stands out are the guitar solos, the rest is pretty ok like most of pop music in 2015

IT'S THE RODEO TIME TO GET STARTED

My 2 cents.

This

my niggas

The jumpscare in the first song gets me every time, dunno why

it's really not

Not even close

I liked it better than OK Computer, fwiw and personally at least, I think they fill a similar role in attempting to revitalise the current stagnant sound of modern pop (chart shit is always shit anyway but you, there are levels)

I mean i love that album to bits but there's definitely competition:
>Barter 6
>Carrie and Lowell
>Currents
>Depression Cherry
>DS2
>Rodeo

More like worst

I was going to argue but now I can't go on without listening to Only As Good As My God. Thanks.

1. Of Montreal - Aureate Gloom
2. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
3. Mark Ronson - Uptown Special
4. Perdition Temple - Tempter's Victorious
5. Marina and the Diamonds - Froot
6. Pinkshinyultrablast - Everything Else Matters
7. Napalm Death - Apex Predator Easy Meat
8. Lucy Rose - Work It Out
9. Bjork - Vulnicura
10. Viet Cong - s/t
11. Built to Spill - Untethered Moon
12. Ghoulgotha - Deathmass Cloak
13. Belle and Sebastian - Girls in Peacetime
14. Unrest - Grindcore
15. Beardfish - Comfort Zone

Solid pick.

"no"

Yes, also "INJI" by La Priest is worth checking.

The closer of this album was very beautiful.

>best album cover of 2015?

holy shit yes

What do you guys thought of arc?, it's obviously not as good as go to heaven but there are some pretty good songs in the album, my favorite has to be Undrowned

Did you like the remix album this year?

Did you like Colin and Sara's albums this year?

liked it a lot actually. Factory Floor's version of 'Sink' is absolutely fantastic.

colin's was awful and sarah's was pretty decent.

>colin's was awful
how so?

well for one, i was never a fan of the composition on its own. the choice to perform the piece in a sort of "rock band" setting completely makes every bit of it underwhelming and the flat production makes it even less powerful than it really tries to be. don't even get me started on the vocalist.

>in a sort of "rock band" setting
you mean chamber music?

>don't even get me started on the vocalist.

*goddammit my finger literally slipped and I hit submit

>don't even get me started on the vocalist.
Actually, can I?

it sounded a lot more post-rock influenced to me rather than chamber music. the vocalist isn't objectively bad or anything, i just found her to become extremely grating to listen to after a while because of the poor mixing.

the original piece was already a bore to me from the start and this reimagining felt even more so. i still love all of stetson's original work, but this one just felt rather uncreative

this is what I was referring to

Chamber music is a form of classical music that is composed for a small group of instruments—traditionally a group that could fit in a palace chamber or a large room. Most broadly, it includes any art music that is performed by a small number of performers, with one performer to a part (in contrast to orchestral music, in which each string part is played by a number of performers).

I havent heard the original so maybe I should but I've really enjoyed this the few times I've heard it. Although next time I'll pay particular attention to the mastering.

...

...

I still love how this band suddenly got this much attention after making 2 albums, they were good, but this is next level

nope, tame impala - currents

and its all gone to their heads

they cancelled literally right before they went on stage because Money told them the crowd sucks. Although the official story was "food poisoning" and since it was a free show who gives a fuck right? two words: festival schedule. Aint nuthin free boys.

3?

As much as I love tame impala, I disagree. Innerspeaker is their best album and I wish they would continue with that style.
