What should I listen to?
>no rap
>no hiphop
Also I'm not a racist, thanks

it feels like you might enjoy this one, even if it's hip hop
no there's no rapping in here
youtube.com
please give me affirmation
reminds me of nujabes but the metronome/monotony is a little too strong for me
if it helps I used to listen to a lot of mutyumu, world's end girlfriend and kenmochi hidefumi
Start with nasty punk. Exploited.
I would strongly recommend nujabes.
the opening sounds almost exactly like this song
youtube.com
too self-loathing for my tastes
Wtf no way mate
No wait, you meant voice style or the opening?
>world's end girldriend
you have listened to the generic post-rock bands, right? if not, go ahead and listen to Godspeed You! Black Emperor
seems like you like japanese stuff, check out Fishmans if you haven't yet
Am I looking for "exploited" or "nasty punk"?
It does sped up
voice style/vocals yeah, just an observation, I didn't mean to stir a debate
I'm giving long season a listen. GSYBE is a staple
Too bad a lot of the best music is depressing to listen to
3 minutes into fishmans and it's great. Thanks user
when you are done, listen to their live album, 98.12.28
it's seriously the greatest album of all time (in my opinion, of course)
forgot to say that it also has a better version of Long Season
you're welcome!!
I agree a bit yeah
I definitely will give that a listen after long season.
Have you listened to "Il y a" yet user?
do you like it more for the electronic element or the old pop element?
you might want to look into ambient/idm artists
Boards of Canada
Aphex Twin
Jon Hopkins
Flying Lotus
City-Pop
Its like vaporwave but before vaporwave.
OOIOO - Feather Float
"The Exploited"
listen to digital hardcore my man

That seems a bit hypocritical doesn't it?
He didn't say "I want to know everything about music". So it only SEEMS hypocritical to a rapfag, but in fact it isn't.
I mean, there's music in every genre that I never knew I would like until I gave it a chance. For all we know the album that he would most enjoy could be hiphop, but since he refuses to listen to it he will never know.
Well if that's what you meant why didn't you word it that way instead of accusing him of being hypocritical?
It's like if I called someone a communist when I in fact meant that he should give French cuisine a try instead of dismissing it.
I didn't accuse him of anything, I said it sounded a bit hypocritical, not that he was a hypocrite
It's still a long shot from what you actually meant.
ok srry pls dn't be mad
It's also significantly better
