Chopped and screwed

Can anyone suggest some good Chopped and Screwed rap songs? Like November 18th (Drake), a lot of A$AP, Sparkmaster Tape, etc.

i always loved the vibe of this, don't even like the original much

Based on what you listed I sincerely doubt that actual chopped and screwed is what you're after. You just have a hard on for really cheesy pitched down vocals

Heading fo my trunk
Mind went blank
Bow down freestyle
Let it reign

z-ro - cocaine has an absolutely incredible 15 minute chopped and screwed version of guerilla maab's fondren & main

never understood the point of chopped and screwed, desu
it's the original track at 80% tempo w/ fl studio preset effects
it's like anti-nightcore hip-hop

>fl studio preset effects
the debut version of fruityloops came out barely 3 years before dj screw died

"his innovation included the trademark technique of slowing down the basic tracks of a cut when he remixed it"

aka playing his records at a lower rpm and callin' it a remix
did this dude die because he tried to lower the tempo of his heartbeat?

have you........actually listened to dj screw?

You have to hear this, user. Noise artist Jason Lescalleet has a version where the audio distorts part way through, so it's like the speakers are breaking. So filthy but soooo chill. I play this whenever I'm driving around the city

listening to "my mind went blank" right now and it's literally what I just said
oh okay he does some lean-soaked turntable scratching but big fucking whoop any idiot with some vinyls and a turntable can do the same thing

is there anything innovative or, at the very least, interesting in this "genre"

good shit senpai

He had a remarkable, immaculate sense of exactly how much to slow a song down and what segments to repeat- listen to a screwtape (june 27th is good) and then listen to some random screw imitator on YouTube. The difference is shocking. He knew what to do and was good at it. Anyone at all can slow music, but only one could screw it.

I have no interest in listening to slowed down music made by a dude who died as lean-soaked as his "remixes" were
it's like the the faggots who paulstretch a snippet of a pop song and call it ambient music

edgy/10

ye

It's just another worthless tripfaggot

Why are you guys giving this pleb any attention?

m.youtube.com/watch?v=zy6Vpp1Vt94

Holy fuck

>I have no interest
Then you and I have no discussion
I'm trying to talk about the music I like, but you're just running it down
Maybe it's time to reevaluate how you spend your time and energy

I don't understand how this is remarkable at all

>basic Sup Forums bitches can't into good hiphop
color me shocked

Anyway, here, OP. Download Endonesia by Screw.

You picked an anomaly. Screw works with rap primarily. Besides, not everything in a discography of 300 double LP length mixtapes is going to be remarkable. The hunt is part of the fun for fans like me.

I like this one a lot- screw teases and repeats little snippets and sets the mood for a long time while his friends do shout-outs, until the meandering finally reaches the full song. Light and fun, but carefully arranged
