We're Only In It For the Money for satire, Hot Rats for non-satire.
I also think his satirical work was kind of spent after the Mothers originally disbanded, and you could see them moving in a more abstract direction that reflected their live shows more on their later albums. You would have expected him to go full on avant/prog in the 70's, but he kind of got stuck on the satire thing. That said I still think Studio Tan, Sheik Yerbouti, and Joes Garage all have tracks that are fun as hell and I'm sure I'd trade for more serious Zappa.
