>Yeezus found Kanye inspired by industrial /experimental hip-hop ala Death Grips
>The Life of Pablo found Kanye influenced by trap
What is next for our illustrious God to be inspired by?
Yeezus found Kanye inspired by industrial /experimental hip-hop ala Death Grips
Vaporwave
Ska
Post-Punk Revival
In what way is pablo trap?
Yeezus was dancehall, acid house, and saul williams not LE DEAF GRAPES meme.
>Yeezus found Kanye inspired by industrial /experimental hip-hop ala Death Grips
please kill yourself
being influenced by trap doesn't mean that it is trap. if you cant hear the trap influences you need to stop listening to hip hop
we can only dream
he peaked with MBDTF and it's been a steep decline since then
Whatever hip hop is inspired by
t. plebe
anyone with taste knows yeezus was good and ahead of its time
>influenced by
Then your statement is useless
>influenced by trap
So fucking what? Trap is the biggest subgenre by far of rap music right now everything is influenced by trap music, even yeezus was influenced by trap and its chicago drill cousin. Trap is not the primary inspiration of pablo the album has trap influences but its not as pronounced as its gospel, House, and midwest rap influences.
As a matter of fact stop listening to rap. Not just rap stop listening to music. Its not for you.
>Yeezus was dancehall, acid house, and saul williams not LE DEAF GRAPES meme.
Really trying too hard there
When not being a meme is le "trying too hard" get the fuck back to 9 gag you dense fuck.
Ye was indisuptably influenced by Death Grips for Yeezus though. He's literally said something to that effect. Doesn't mean he wasn't influenced by Saul too
Lets get a citation on that
>get the fuck back to 9 gag you dense fuck.
still trying too hard goddamn
>ala Death Grips
Lmao Yeezy doesn't listen to that shit
Sufjan
post-ironic bait
I think hes gonna go back to a more 808's era sound with singing and commit to the 80's/retro/vapor/synthwave vibe.
this
fucking meme grips fans why are you so obsessed with thinking everyone else should be plebs too
David Bowie's a pleb too then. I wonder what sincerely goes through minds like yours, it's like brain damaged black and white thinking.
Yeezus was pretty good, but he was obviously really reaching for something "new" and "inventive" and ended up making nauseous and repetitive industrial sounding schlock. Black Skinhead, Blood on the Leaves, and Bound 2 are pretty great though.
TLOP was hot garbage with a few good tracks
whatever the next trend in hip hop is
i mean if he was collaborating with 2006 era arcade fire... maybe...
