So what's the best DAW, Sup Forums?

Fruity loops for vst

Ableton for live instruments

fruity loops if you're under 18

ableton

garageband 6

Depends what for

That's...an interesting opinion.

for making music

Reaper Master Race

whichever one you are the most comfortable with

guys what if death grips were actually on seinfeld

Ableton Live obviously

...

i don't agree with this but FL is p good if you use yr vst's right

also ableton is pretty solid for recording live instruments

what if seinfeld still on tv?

I've been using fl studio for a while now but ableton's clean and simple layout is interesting me more and more, plus from what I hear the vsts are much better. I will probably switch soon.

SoundEdit 16

I did the switch a while back. It was hard at first but totally worth it in the end. Looking back, FL just seems so retarded.

w2c shirt m8

i need it to wear while watching eric andre with my fellow post ironic millennial netizens

redbubble. search seinfeld death grips

howd you make the switch? any tutorials you could link that helped?

Here you go OP

try vespers
hes an ableton teacher and has nice cool tips

Magnetic tape

yeah, watch some basic tutorials, but mostly I learned just by fiddling around and making simple beats.

this is actually really fucking accurate

fl studio is a mixmash of generic soundcloud trap artists and rappers, and people who upload music to newgrounds

Logic pro x. Clean, versatile, easy to use

logic pro x
most versitile

Wax Cylinder.

AGREED MY DUDE LOL JUST posted that

Digital Performer obviously

where's max

Max isn't a DAW (like Audacity btw)

Ableton

FL Studio is, in my opinion, the most accessible/easy to work with and is really good for home production. If you're doing any sort of performances though, or if you're getting MIDI controllers and more hardware, then Ableton is the way to go.

I wouldn't mind switching over to Ableton for a bit just because I think it seems more powerful and "better" than FL Studio from an "industry standard" sort of way, but it's so awkward to switch over from one DAW to another.

guys whats the windows equivalent of logic?
Its just so simple and im not even making "serious" music,I just want to have fun with it
thanks in advance

what's awkward about it?
it's just a different interface
it takes like an hour or two getting used to navigating around

Mixcraft or Acid
