Shias and sunnis

Explain /int, what's the difference?

arabs vs persians

Shia believe that some cousin of Mohamed was his rightful successor, while Sunnis don't.

Sunni=ISIS
Shia=Iran

that pretty much sum it up

And that's it, just a ethnic/cultural shitpost irl?
Why it's so critical?

Why do you care?

sunni = subhuman who will blow you up
shia = slightly less subhuman who will stab you in the back

Shias want to behead you, and Sunnis want to blow you up.

Oh wait - I might have that backward.

>Why it's so critical?

It's not. It's retarded just like every other religious dispute.

Sunnis fuck sheep
Shias fuck goats

I'm KGB agent and trying to get some information that later i will use against you.
Well, actually i'm interested in religion. That's pretty much it.
But there's should some explanation.
Hive, guys. Lel.

t Erdogan

One is normal people's Islam, the other should be destroyed, is full of cunts who hate everyone and has nothing to do with Islam.

Shias are heretics who hate Muslims and are subversive. They are the Jews of Islam.

After Muhammad died, the Islams elected 4 caliphs or leaders
But as the Islams gained more land, they started fighting over the caliph position
After one of the caliphs called Ali was killed, an enemy of Ali called Muawiyah obtained the caliph position
Muawiyah established the Umayyad Dynasty and made his son caliph, and after that the caliph position became hereditary

Sunna
They support the caliph system
They also think what the Islams do should be decided by all Islamic people
And this should be considered by what's written in the Quran and "Muhammad's words and actions" which is called Sunna

Shia
They think only Ali and his descendants can fully understand the Quran
His descendants should be the leader both politically and religiously
They don't think the general Islams have a saying in what they do, as only Ali and his descendants possess god-like power
They don't admit the caliph system

kinda the same with Protestants/Catholics really

>Real answer gets ignored
Hmm

Get out of Japan

It's not. The different theologies developed from that power struggle
