The Padres just blew a 10 run lead, the previous record was held by the Indians who blew a 9 run lead against the Tigers in 1969
The Padres just blew a 10 run lead...
...
What sport is this?
Why is an american team called "Padres"?
padres are aiming for a stranglehold on all negative records
JUST
They're from San Diego. Spaniards set up a bunch of missions up and down the coast of California including San Diego (I think) to convert Native Americans to Christianity. Padre means father, like a church father, priest
Also the sport is baseball
That's not true. Several teams have blown 12-run leads, including the Mariners.
Is there any club more JUST than the Padres?
This, watch this OP: youtube.com
Not OP but, on a side note, this game is 4 runs shy of the highest scoring game of all time, however that game was also the biggest blowout of all time.
Anyone who follows baseball probably remembers rangers 30 orioles 3
How fucking old were you when that happened? What were you doing when you were informed? Just wondering
I just remember seeing it on ESPN and them showing all the other teams broadcasts showing that scoreboard
Can't even remember what year that happened I juat know I was in high school when it did
youtube.com
i was 15 but i did not care about baseball then
2004
That's not even close to the highest scoring game of all time. Here's one that's even higher than the two you mentioned. 45 combined runs,
youtube.com
By the way, the highest scoring game was a Cubs-Phils game in the 1920's when they combined for 49 runs.
Padres fan here, someone please come over and use my mouth as your personal fuck-hole to help me forget this miserable team.
Seattle blew a 12 run lead against the Indians in 2001. Get your stats right.

J-Just think of the draft picks, fellow dadsbro..
I was at this game tonight. Padres fans were literally laughing about how "padres" the situation was, myself included. I don't think there's been a more JUST season in Padres history. Might even be in contention for the most pathetic season in the history of baseball.
But at least we get fucking $2 tacos on Tuesday.
at least your minor league hockey team made the playoffs
Last year was more JUST than this year. The Madres spent like $100 million extra dollars and actually lost more games than they did as a poor team
>and both pitchers were never heard from again
I'm gonna include them both since we're basically dealing with the runoff from last years failed experiment. This whole AJ Preller era of Padres baseball is like having a bad case of explosive diarrhea in front of your 5th grade class. The rest of the league is just pointing and laughing at us and we have to deal with the humiliation for years before this mess is cleaned up. This city is cursed man.
>mfw starting pitchers against the Padres in fantasy baseball
>indians BTFO of teams
