National Anthems

ITT: Best national anthems
I vote Turkey. Sounds like they should be an evil empire or something, as opposed to a total shithole.

You're not wrong, wow. Not really what I was expecting but pretty bad ass.

UDSSR close second.

Lyricswise it is actually Albania, tho:
>From war abstains only he,
>Who a traitor is born,
>He who is a true man is not frightened,
>But dies a warrior to the cause.

>With weapons in our hands a-brandished,
>We will defend our fatherland,
>Our sacred rights we’ll not relinquish,
>The foe has no place in our land.

>Montenegro has less people than my city
Weird to think about. But yeah, this is pretty cool, kind of sounds like a minor key Christmas carol.
Mongolia's anthem:

Mellower than you might expect, given their history.

It is a downgrade after this one.

Holy shit, that is awesome, thanks for posting. Never heard that before.
Meh, sounds like Kim killed all the good composers.

An obvious glorious one. My personal favorite

Ottoman Empire had the most badass anthems in that era. Every ruler had his own march.

Medieval anthems best anthems.
I feel bad for new worlders Tbh.

Sounds like a church chant, not march-like, therefore shit.

Man, if I was a Sultan I'd definitely have a cool theme song like that.
This is really comfy, I can see myself falling asleep to this

Wow, this is a trip and a half. A bunch of people throat singing at once is a really powerful sound.

>mfw listening to the first 2 minutes of this

Teutonic knights said the same thing and look at them now
>throat singing in an anthem
butiful like the endless steppe itself

Suddenly I feel like I would give my life for tuvan independence

fucking cunt the USA wasn't even a thing when bulgaria was occupied by ottomans

At first I thought this was kind of absurd, but the tune really grew on me. Is this their real national anthem? When the drums kicked in it kind of sounded like zydeco for a second there.
Sorry Barbosa, but the people in the first video can't sing. Second one and the tune itself are good though.

is this pic real? iif so that's hilarous, what article?

Sorry Bulgaria, it was the first pic I could find somewhat related to Turkey
Nah, think it's shooped. This was real though, I was in the thread

This one's great too.

In no particular order the best are: Russia/USSR, Sweden, Soviet Kazakhstan, Soviet Lithuania, Soviet Tajikistan, Soviet Armenia, France, Imperial Russia (God Save the Tsar), Wales, New Zealand, North Korea, Kenya, Apartheid South Africa, Israel, Romania, Palestine/Saddam's Iraq, Greece, and Laos

I need to hear more Third World anthems and regional anthems.
