VEEEEEEEEGEEEEEEEEEETAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
OLHAAAA BEEEEEEIN UUUUUUUUOOOOOO
Unfair, ours have pretty shit singers.
Try a scene from a diney or pixar movie without them singing, maybe. Although our voice actors are pretty shit as well.
absolute kek.
Our Dragon Ball in particular is silly on purpose, by the way. It's basically the voice actors trying to cram as much corny shit as they possibly can.

Let it go in Eu Pt and Br Pt
That's slightly more recent so better.
But it's hard to differentiate the diction and cadence of two languages/accents/dialects based on songs.
Particularly when it's one of the main distinctions between ours.
I prefer ours there, though. Yours sounds a bit too old/low pitched for the song.
This might be better.
Post a narrated documentary:
youtube.com
>Yours sounds a bit too old/low pitched for the song.
Yeah, I'll have to agree with you in that one.
To be honest, I love the Portuguese language as a whole, if spoken correctly, of course.
post more songs with the 2 versions
Remember that those monkeys are half-muslim as well.
So funny... now go back to Sup Forums, please.
>ellipsis
>can't handle banter
hi r*ddit!
I don't speak Portuguese but yeah, I prefer the European one
not sure which one of these I prefer
It was funny in the first 10000x, now it's just plain annoying and retarded.
How about a Portuguese singer singing in a Brazilian accent about Fado, a Portuguese slow and emotional musical genre, through the perspective of a happy-go-lucky Brazilian waitress in Portugal.
Lots of layers:
youtube.com
It's easier for us to mimic your accent than the other way around.
I really like this singer's voice
>It's easier for us to mimic your accent than the other way around.
same with Americans and Brits
also i like Br pt better but that may be because i'm american idk
but i like Portuguese better than spanish no matter who's speaking for the most part
Portuguese is probably my favorite of the major romance languages(including Romanian lol)
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHHAHA
The dragon ball gt one is better in european portuguese, and shitty dubs don't really make a good impression
Brazilian has a bit more influence from Spanish than Euro Portuguese does (with all the open vowels). Or maybe we have just gotten further away from Spanish because we're more insular.
Either way, I honestly don't mind a Brazilian accent by principle, but it can be very tiring when spoken loudly or fast.
Whenever it's spoken quietly and softly it sounds very nice. Very honest and humble. Slightly naïve, but not in a bad way.
The dude can't sing for shit, though. His voice keeps cracking.
this one is actually pretty good better than the boring shit we had in english for sure
All Brazilian voice actors that worked on Dragon Ball are awesome. Seriously, they're really talented. Goku's voice actor also does the voice of Spongebob, which is also really good.
this
sounds like two gays having sex.
I like the portuguese version better because I can't stand Rio de Janeiro's accent anymore.
A few months ago I searched SECRETARIA in xvideos and found a Brazilian amateur video, they were in a motel and this song was playing in the background, like they were fucking with the radio on
youtube.com
I cant find the video anymore, must have been deleted, but at least I discovered a new song I like.
How can you masturbate listening to that shit, mate? I'm not saying that the song is bad, just that It's weird to fap to that song.
Reminder that Portugese is an honary slavic language. Not sure about the brazilian one tho
Nem queria mesmo... Bobo.
It isnt rare for amateur porn to have music, especially if it is from a love motel, those usually play romantic music.
I always fap with headphones (otherwise other people in my house would realize I am watching porn) so the song was louder than the moanings.
Do you really watch these attention whores?
yes
Exactly. Now imagine walking by your son's room and see this being shown on the tv
topkek
Yoy have better sounding "r" sounds, I also like those numerous "sh" sounds, in Brazil they have it only in Rio, as far as I know. Generally speaking pt-EU is easier to understand, while pr-BR is "fancier".
id beat the shit out of him.
Topkek, of course. Although.
>gerund
Reminds me of people like this:
youtube.com
Our R isn't regional. Some people roll them, others use the French one. In Brazil this is better delineated, but here it's a per-individual basis.
Euro Portuguese is often compared to Polish because of the nasal sounds, so I guess it's easier for you guys, but that'd be the exception, I'd say.
>fancier
Yeah, I guess. It's a lot lighter and more musical. Not necessarily more feminine, though. Spanish is noticeably more feminine to us, but Brazilian isn't. Well, not to me at least.
>assacinas
youtube.com
HAHAHAHA
Fuuck imagine the girl of the second video getting B L A C K E D
By "fancier" I meant that they speak as if they tried to sing, they have that "sinusoidal" amplitude of the spoken language, while European Portuguese is more "flat"/"regular". Generally speaking pt-EU is easier to understand for me, even though the majority of my learning resources teach Brazilian Portuguese.
Holy kek. Did she spit on him?
Brazilian
>carioca "r"
No, god. Why?!
Não, tá só a tchober thcouriças
BR Portuguese sounds like a Portuguese/French mixture phonetically, particularly the Paulista accent. I prefer it to Portugal Portuguese
That SP accent wasn't rather influenced by Italians?
For a layman, the resulting accent is kind of Frenchish sounding
>mallu
>carioca
I don't get what you mean with "carioca 'r'", unless you're a caipira or a southern friend
Would love to hear your accent. From my experience slavs in general are really good at mastering our accents, it can be good to be point that it can fool a native speaker
Btw, you really like her, don't you?
I think he meant that most of her r'a sound like the english h. Example, the word "porra" cariocas say like "poha"
>Example, the word "porra" cariocas say like "poha"
That's wrong
t. carioca
Sounds very nasal. I think I can recognize Rio's accent now.
portuguese sounds like slavic
brazilian portuguese sounds like gay tranny speaking
^
>dilma is still arseblasted
i will cum in a brazilian girl and create the next brazil prezident
We all sound nasal. Mainly us from São Paulo (capital). What I mean is that the Carioca's "r" sounds like "h", which is a little weird to me. I prefer the rolled one (like in Spanish, but not too hard).
Like "mehda" instead of "MeRRrda" (not the caipira one, though).
sounds gay tbqh
Exactly. I'm not saying that It's bad, though. It is just a little "weird" to me.
By the way I like the sound of the "RR" carioca (like when you said poRRa"). Sounds strong.
It's a bit different from an English h though, clearly more guttural on those two in particular.
You mean you roll your 'rr's and 'r's at the end of syllables?
posta musicas portuguesas e brasileiras ai po
eu criei essa thread pra dizer qual é a melhor e voces ficam discutindo sobre porra e merda ---''
Fair enough

I think the portuguese version sounds nicer in this one
She's a Paulista
More than you can imagine. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, and her music is amazing as well.
>You mean you roll your 'rr's and 'r's at the end of syllables?
My "rr" sounds like normal "porra" (like "HA" sound). My "r"s I roll, at the middle and at the end of words (like in "poRta" and "suóR"). Not so much like Spanish-speakers do, but I still roll it.
Ok, vou procurar alguns aqui e postarei.
>She's a Paulista
Doesn't sound so.
Brazilian Portuguese is filled with slangs and memes, and nobody seems to be able to speak it properly.
ou dbz dub is literally a parody
i can't stop laughing
Is there somewhere i can watch dbz in Portuguese? I'm actually learning Portuguese and want an excuse to watch dbz again.
Try this one:

brazilian dubs aren't afraid of butchering the song, and because of that most of the times they adopt the original lyrics of an opening in its enterity ,this becomes really annoying since they even have to use grammar oblivious to the average fucking brazilian so when the opening starts the niggers can't even understand what the actual meaning of the song is...
You can stop posting dragon ball,it's not even something you can use as an argument since our dubs were done for kids and not 20+ year olds who still watch cartoons.
Anyway:
EU-Portuguese

BR-Portuguese

EU-Portuguese:

BR-Portuguese:
youtube.com
Imo Br portuguese is much more pleasant
Like I said, why the fuck do you post the db gt version like it's something to be proud of?That opening is so fucking gay and cringy(sorriso resplandence,fml...)
We don't dub openings for kids over 12+ because it's so fucking stupid.
We dubbed Inuyasha but let the original opening which is pretty awesome sang originally.
youtube.com
Arguing with a brazilian is pointless tho,it's like arguing with an obnoxious kid x100
The opening in Portuguese or native language is much more memorable and nostalgic than in a foreign language.
And we have a wide variety of dubbed anime. We can watch dubbed or subtitled, all are well dubbed.
>our dubs were done for kids and not 20+ year olds who still watch cartoons.
thats bullshit and you know it
in digimon squad the portuguese one was better, but in shaman king the brazilian version is clearly superior
our opening in dragon ball gt is much better tho.Why do you think there are millions of brazilians posting in the comments of that video and no portuguese posting in the brazilian dub videos? You're a bunch of envious fucks with no sense of respect.
obs: The sound is horrible because of the compression the uploader has made
>clearly
Just the first 5 seconds of the br portuguese version is so cringy,it's like a guy forgot he shouldn't be singing this one .
Btw,you guys copied a part of our lyrics
How is your version better? It sounds so fucking unprofessional compared to ours
man, inuyasha opening is beautiful in any language
a masterpiece
Brazilian dubbing is professional. Almost all the films, series and animes broadcast in Brazil are dubbed.
>bullshit
Tell me the average audiences of the openings you've posted previously.
You take the lyrics too seriously and follow the original and you end up with brazilian kids not knowing what the fuck did the opening meant.
The portuguese one was incisive and inspiring.
The brazilian one sounds like a fucking funeral song CORAÇAUM REXPLANDIXENTXI
i think i like the voice better in the br one
and about db gt i actually prefer the portuguese version, its so comfy
