I do however, find the tattoos themselves to be downright ugly. Only in rare instances do they end up looking cool.

And the whole concept of committing yourself to an image, FOR LIFE, is just ridiculous. WE change over time. Our tastes change over time. Down the road, a person will likely think to themselves, "What was I thinking? Why the fuck did I get THIS tattoo? I don't even like it anymore."

Honestly, I have 20+ tattoos, got them as a teenager/tattoo artist, but I'd love to have all of them removed someday. I hate the attention, and yes I strongly dislike most other people I come in contact with that have a lot of tattoos as well. As another said, we change over time. I'm a completely different person now than when I was 18.
