Hello Sup Forums

Hello Sup Forums,

I'm a sociology grad student and I've been studying social behavior across the different boards of Sup Forums for a while now.

The behavior on this board really stood out to me. I was hoping a few people might be willing to share some of their insight into any social behavior trends they've seen on here.

Best of luck, user.

Strong faggotry. Specifically from OPs like yourself.

Sharpie in pooper or info for u

Can ask you, or anyone else for that matter, what specifically characterizes something as faggotry?

Posting on Sup Forums makes you a faggot newfag

So are 100% of posters faggots by default?

...

Yeah.

Repetitive.

Are you providing toasty wins? No? Your a faggot now break something inside your asshole so we can zozzle at your pain

OP here. Let's make this a test of social awareness. Do you even know what's going on here?

imma let u finish but bernstein et al 2011 already wrote up a sociological analysis of /b, socfag. you'd need to make a case it's changed significantly since then. and... not really seeing it.

>Implying I haven't done my research

GET OUT OF MY HEAD

...

All the time:

> being cynical and talking shit about other posters simply for the sake of arguing

> people calling others basement dwellers/cucks/virgins because they think that they're different than the average btard... Even though the average btard probably is none of those

> people thinking that were on b when it was "glorious" and look down on others who they think havnt been here as long

A legitimate, lucid response. I appreciate that.

how does it feel to be wasting several years of your life and tons of money pursuing a degree that has approximately zero real world application to getting a career? You'll be stuck making slave wages in academia, if you're lucky enough to even get a position.

well i don't see any evidence of you doing your research in your initial enquiry, let's put it that way. go read some garfinkel. and goffman on cultural dopes. and then think about why asking for "insight into social behavior trends" might not be a particularly powerful research methodology. pro-tip: members methods. c.f. you to biella, who actually did it right.

OP here. You misunderstand. I already wrote my paper. This is just out of curiousity

Thanks for the tip. I will adjust my life accordingly

> have arguments over stupid shit even though both parties know that they will not convince the other party that their views are right.

> go to a place which has a composition of 60% shemale porn and 40% banana pics and then complain about all the gay shit.

Reminds me of league of legend. We have a clearly diverse community, and clearly riddled with young males (middle-hs) just like any other online community who can't say a single thing of substance.
