Cows
Lots and lots of cows.

Also yellowstone. Might as well see it before it blows.

Moving there in about a month or so from Colorado. There is nothing there. That's why I'm moving.

I actually live here OP. There's Yellowstone which is pretty but other than that, no. Not many people either which is perfect for me but is kinda boring to drive through.

Just ma dick

Where to and from?
I'm in Denver but have property near pine bluffs

In a nut shell.

Boring until a semi blows past you even though you're doing 100 on I-80

Lots of gay men go to the University of Wyoming

from illinois. wanting a little less as well. had same idea but finishing uni first.

It's beautiful. Go to Grand Teton national park and spend some serious decompressionn time.

The problems is the people. You got serious shitkicker assholes and seriously rich assholes. That's Dick Cheney country.

sounds like my type of state

Wyoming is also nicknamed God's country but there's nothing in Wyoming or at least nothing worthwhile

No state here. youtube.com/watch?v=56uSDQECrRQ

I live about a mile east of downtown Littleton.

Gay cowboys.

I'm thinking Laramie. It's a college town, so at least I'll be around people my age. Not to mention, I have a buddy who lives there.

Wyoming is Dick Cheyne's home state. Dick pushed his government to consider purchasing it's own army.

“conditions under which the state of Wyoming should implement a draft, raise a standing army, marine corps, navy and air force and acquire strike aircraft and an aircraft carrier.”

...

who cares? that guy is a fuck, and it's one guy in an entire state. That is not a reflection of the state itself, but an observation of a fuck in which I do not give. Good work, buddy.

Laramie's alright but for a college town there's surprisingly little to do

That doesn't bother me. I don't need much to do. All I need is a place to work and a place cheap enough to live. I also plan on purchasing some rifles to go hunting with.

When you start looking for a place (if you plan on renting) wait until after UW finishes the semester because all the students leave and all the prices drop

That's the plan. My lease runs out at the end of June, which is about the time I plan on moving up there.

It's pretty cool here. I moved here after I graduated high school and I love it way better than my old home town

I could just about throw a rock from my yard and hit you in the head with it. (~2 miles)

Where is your old home town?

Sounds about right to me. I hate my home town. I want a fresh start.
That is one hell of an arm you've got.

Me and the wife bought a house in the big horn area, and we're moving at the end of the year. Lived in SoCal for 6 years, but grew up in south Texas. Tired of the people, the traffic, and the cost of living.

Figurative of course. The irony is you are literally the closest user I've encountered, and it's a Wyoming thread.

If you go to Laramie watch for the techers. Kind of a crazy bunch, at leat when I lived there.

Rock Springs, its also in wyo but south west wyo so the shitty ugly desert part full of tweakers and mormons (they overlap more than you think)

There aint shit out there.
It's got less congressional seats than Hawaii.

That is why I'm moving from Colorado. I live in a suburb not too far south of Denver, and the amount of people coming to this state is making it shit. Rent is skyrocketing, the amount of people on the road has doubled since I was a kid, and the people are all stoner fucks.
But of course. Thanks for the warning. Shouldn't be much a problem, though.

Truth. Techers are the fucking worst. They're 99% illiterate ex-cons who think that a lift-kitted truck that intentionally smogs every time they hit the gas pedal is cool.
My techer neighbor likes to take apart his car in the parking lot of our building and literally spread the parts out on over 1/2 it

Yeah the cost of rent in California is ridiculous, we pay $2000 for a two bedroom apartment. And the gun laws are complete shit. Moving back to a red state is what I've wanted for a long time.

Not too much. It's mostly how they drive. Tech school for automotive so a good portion of the students drive rice or muscle and juat have to wave dicks at each other

Colorado is about $1500 for a two bedroom, but it's going up every half year. The amount of people coming here is ridiculous. Our state population has doubled in the past year.

More like 75% (in 2004 anyway)
I was a techer. Drove a stock Ford Escorts and kept to myself

That fucking sucks, I pay $1050 for 3 bedrooms lol

The teachers (in my experience) have always been cool, its the shit dick students who get on my nerves.

TECHer, not TEACHer.

Do you also live in Mexico?

That's only the front range and ski towns. My aunt pays $600 for a 2 bedroom in Del Norte. My uncles 3 bedroom house is appraised around 125k in Minturn. Plenty of cheap places to live in Colorado, but good fucking luck finding a job in any of them.

Hence Wyoming.

Nah, wyo. My last place here was $880 for two bedrooms two bathrooms

That is true. Techers were often crazy but usually bro-tier. UWers seemed to be mostly liberal binge drinkers (standard college students) with the added bonus of being in "enemy territory" and so unusually zealous.

The Tetons are my favorite place on the planet m8. You won't find a place with better summer weather and more picturesque mountains. The Grand Teton is fucking majestic.

Samefag here.
The Wind River Range is also stellar, but it is a little harder to get into. As far as life in the state goes, like everyone else is saying, a lot of the people are backwards hillbillies, but if you drive fifteen minutes in any direction you'll likely be alone anyway.

Backwards hillbillies are fun to drink beer and shoot inanimate objects from the porch with
