As a medic, I can safely tell you that nearly all, if not all, medical professionals will be voting to exit the EU. If we stay in the EU the NHS will only be able to last for 5-10 more years max unless some majorly radical changes occur that will involve people paying for medical treatment.

The reason for this is due to the way EU laws work, it is extremely easy for EU nationals to get free medical care, despite not being British. This is causing a massive strain on the NHS as not only does this mean there is not enough staff to treat everyone and thus queues are building up and up, but it is also causing a lot of people to bring diseases not native to Britain, causing an even larger financial problem as we do not have the equipment to treat such cases and thus have to buy said equipment and medicine.

Being out of the EU would allow the NHS to go back to helping British nationals and British nationals only. Not only would this save the NHS, pave way for the NHS being able to treat patients better, better educate the British public in medical care (e.g. it would be financially possible to educate everyone in the UK on basic first aid), and allow for better treatment of patients. Finally it would provide more money for medical research in which Britain is already one of the leading nations to provide us with possible future treatments and cures for various diseases.
