The gloy kills are actually pretty cool. They are a lot faster then the trailers and they get you to stop trying to hide as most games now a days make people accustom too. You need to get in the shit to get ammo and weapons.

Both. It's not supposed to be about multi only but they want to pass it as arena shooter. Read quake. Single MAYBE something else but I wouldn't have my hopes up. But seeing the way multi went towards Id say single is going to be a disappointment

Multiplayer was so huge when DOOM came out that sysadmins had to fight tooth and nail to keep it blocked due to the immense pressure it was putting on their networks.

Antivirus companies literally started putting out 'anti-doom' packages so that people could keep that shit under control.

It was insane.

I broke down and bought it today so I could get the wolfenstein prequel with it. I liked the new wolfenstein so at least I'm getting something out of it if Doom sucks, but I'm hoping it doesn't.

If it's Doom 3 gameplay, no. If it's Doom 2 gameplay, yes.

Not sure why everyone is complaining about the MP, shit was a blast to play with friends. But i'm mostly going to be playing singleplayer anyways so it's still a buy for me.

MP seems secondary. I just want a good single player that wont bore the fuck outta me.

I'll play MP if its decent tho. i dont really have a scope of "good" FPS MP because I've always approached it pretty casually only really playing Halo 3 and some Black Ops.

Spent the last of my money on this game. Just waiting for its arrival
