Marvel made multiple movies, all decent in their own right, with characters and personal arcs that were decent, then merged them into a combined effort.
The MCU is literally over a decade in the making. It wasn't a rushed thing really.
DC is very obviously being used to cash in on the marvel hype. No one in the DC-CU is trying to make a good movie series, they just want to leach some of the money Marvel is making.
the DC universe is already flopping, the reality is tho, people are paying to see these movies, and they won;t stop until people stop buying tickets. Not fewer people, all people. Shitty box office sales just means lower budgets for the movies, the movies will still be made.

The new ghost busters is objectively going to be shit, but it will kill in the box office, sending the message to the creators that they will make money if they make an all female A-team remake, all negro back to the future, and all trans remake of titanic.
When people stop going to the movies too see movies that are obviously shite, the quality of movies will increase. But, that'll never happen.
Ghostbusters will make fuck tons of money, and be hailed as a just crusade for equality, while in reality people just went out of boredom and/or curiosity.
