Fuck japan. Go somewhere cool like Paris Berlin or London

theres not as many shitskin muslims in japan as those brown countries now

>i also dont know any japanese. will that be a problem?
It's Japan. They speak Japanese. Think about it for a second.

Somewhere cool like London or Paris? Lol you clearly don't travel

paris is a shithole, but the others are cool

they speak English. the most important thing is to be polite.

Japan is hyped as fuck. Had a couple of friends that went there and sad it was great but not exactly what they expected. I'd recommend south korea.

>Berlin

go to for more useful information

>Berlin

I lived in Japan for 4 years. Kyoto is great, but you have to book hotels in the city proper a year in advance for things like cherry blossom viewing.

You don't need to know Japanese to go to Kyoto or Tokyo, but man, it sure helps.

I have lived and worked there a whole year as engineer....
I am totally not into anime and that stuff, but now it is my favourite country and I want to return.
Osaka is way better than tokio.
I would never raise a girl there though, because the men there are all perverts

On /trv/ there's a exclusive thread just to talk about Japan.
You should check that

>has anyone ever traveled to Japan?

I was there for the tokyo auto salon.

>what was your experience and whst did you do while you were there.

checked out a bunch of auto tuner shops, got drunk at small bars.

>cant speak jap, will it be a problem?

yes, if you;re white good luck trying to blend in. People will avoid you like you have some sort of disease. And think about this for a second, WHY do you want to go there? Seriously, think about it.

>Berlin.

>they speak English.
No. They know English words, but that's it. English education in Japan is garbage.

What the fuck did they expect? japan is a world leader in technology and the birth place of some of the strangest faashion and subcultures of the modern day. Not to mention they have all the standard cool architecture and shit people travel for, with a remarkably polite populous who don't treat you like dogshit like they do in france. Its a great place to travel to.

Like, how were they disappointed? Not enough lolis and gundams?

English education in America is garbage.

Berlin has arguably the best nightlife in the world but you wouldn't know that cause the lot of you are neckbeards

This.

It is Japan, you are basically a nigger the moment you step off the plane.

They hate you and even if they do speak english (which they probably don't) they are not going to speak it with you.

Even slavland cities are safer than Paris.

Berlin has arguably the best roasted jews in the world, but you wouldn't know because you're pic related.

Nice trips.

I've been to Japan. Majority do not speak English, even in Tokyo. At hostels/hotels they will. It would be a good idea to learn some basic Japanese.

I went back packing around Japan for around 4-5k AUD including flight tickets for 3 weeks, including a 2 week shinkansen rail pass.

I've also been around Europe, Japan is def #1 on my list

>nightlife
>I hate myself so I spend every spare moment I have on fleeting bullshit like loose pussied club girls and overpriced drinks

Get the fuck out of here, normie scum. Nightlife has zero appeal to the intellectual masses for a reason.

Oh my how ignorant you are, how very very ignorant.

The funny thing is I could easily enlighten you to the world you're missing with actually interesting people but I think it best to leave you out in the cold with those people you're living that great life with

Sorry man

>pic related is your first step to a special place but you're probably too bumboiled to even consider my words

>walking around tokyo at night as a white boy
enjoy getting stabbed to death

Been there for 3 months, maybe u should check out woofing for a second, you help some japs and get free food plus bed, maybe u even fuck their daughters

Wanna go so bad to see Susumu Hirasawa show!!!! Trying to learn Japanese but not doing well at it.

I'm actually leaving for Tokyo on Sunday.

Here's my tips:
1. Be very polite
2. Don't say "your welcome" and just sort of reject all compliments as if you're worse than the other person.
3.Take your shoes off in people's houses
4. Offer your seat to elderly and make eye contact on the trains.

I ain't OP, but according to travelfags on youtube most of Tokyo is safe even at night.
As long as you mind your own business and stay out of yakuza places, you should be fine.

>interesting people
>wearing ed hardy shirts
>euro trash
>snookie
>thinking that techno music is still culturally relevant or revolutionary

even with little girls?

I meant DO NOT make eye contact on trains.

I would rather be white than asian

So would asians. That's why they kill themselves for no apparent reason.

LOL IS THIS THE GAY P0RN THRED???

bullshit, Japan is one of the safest countries you can go to as a foreigner

> trying this hard to fit in
summer has arrived early, Sup Forums

You confused tokyo and detroit

I lived in Japan for a year, was an awesome experience. Not at all like the retard weeabus imagine it to be, but amazing for sure. Ask me any questions

Topkek

Dam, I thought you were trying to fuck his shit, you are just a retard.

hey, op. Good idea going to Japan, you get a taste of being discriminated against but probably won't come home in a body bag.

This.
Japan has way more of an anti foreigner sentiment.

Take a train trip they got most advance technology they reach speeds of 200mph and shit

South Koreans way more into our backwards American white people shit

It's good but there's heaps of fucking slopeheads and nips about the place.

Education in America is garbage.

I'm from Japan, but lived in NZ for 15+ years. Basically everything is written in Japanese as soon as you leave Tokyo, Osaka and other major areas, and very few people speak English or actually know what they're saying once outside of these said areas. Anyone in their 30+ won't speak very much English (if at all) either. Basically if you don't know how to speak or read Japanese, stick to the main areas where there are other tourists and/or go with someone that can speak it. By 2019/2020 Tokyo should be more English friendly with the upcoming Rugby World Cup and Olympics being hosted there.

The English education favors American English so you may have an advantage or disadvantage depending on your accent in terms of getting through to them. Buy an internet card when you get there so you can use Maps and Translate, and use English internet guides to tour the major centres.

LOL

Confirmed, the shinconsens are the shit

Not a problem really. You can use the internet to navigate and find public transport routes, and you can spot restaurants by the pictures of food.

I AM JAPANESE.
WHAT YOU ARE WANT KNOW?

>Berlin
you are no german for sure... Berlin is a shit hole

I w a n t k n o w w h y m u r r i c a n s a l l n i g g e r s e v e n i f t h e y w h i t e?

What is best in life?

TO CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES, TO SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU, AND TO HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF THEIR WOMEN.

I would really like to visit japan some day with a few friends, but I don't think, I couldtake all this crazy shit for longer than a vacation... living there is out of question, I would not go into a fucking maid caffé or anything like that either, I would die from the cringe

America is garbage

was at Berghain in Berlin, can confirm

capitalism in the endstate, combined with an absolute retarded kind of patriotism = what you see in their "culture" nowdays

There's plenty of stuff that doesn't involve anime.

Try staying in a ryokan instead of a western hotel.
Go to an onsen (bath house).
Eat some weird cakes.
Buy Kitkat with green tea.
Visit the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. Eat sushi in one of the small restaurants there.
Go to Kamakura or Nara (especially Nara) to see some old temples. Nara is also filled with tame deer. You can buy crackers and hand feed them!
See the museum in Hiroshima (not a feel-good place)
Ride the Shinkansen!
Climb Mt. Fuji (Climbing may be over selling it. There are trails all the way to the top.)

There are lots of temples, big and small. Once you start looking for them you'll start seeing them everywhere. Even in Tokyo you can find small temples nestled in between skyscrapers and shopping malls.

You don't have to know japanese in the larger cities, but a little japanese helps. Just being able to say a few phrases shows that you care. Make sure you rent a portable wifi hotspot so you can use Google Maps for navigation. It'll also give you the line and station names in kanji so you can match it with the signs (the signs in Tokyo and Kyoto are in english though)

Many restaurants don't have english menus, and ordering a complete meal can be difficult without it. The waiters are usually helpful and the look on their face will let you know if you've ordered something odd.

With that budget you can probably get two or three weeks including hotels and food.

I've seen enough people who are relevant for the music to not be as important

Happened across some Metalfags in the smoking area who weren't as much of a shut in as you so I guess that's worth something

People can wear what they want, cool thing is when ya dance that nobody cares who you are and how you do it, just all there to forget about everything for a night

youtube.com/watch?v=oXTPMw3jRBk

relevant techno, by the way

satanic trips checked, how was Berghain?

>got to Aokigahara
>bring rope
>kill self
>???
>profit

>they speak English
never been to japan, have you? good luck with that.

>Japan is hyped as fuck
>not exactly what they expected
that's because retard westerners think japanese are pokemon that are fighting for dragonballs while wearing maid outfits as they scream "KAWAII!!!!".

literally every claim about how insane japanese are is extremely exaggerated. there's no fucked up porn unless you go to underground weirdo stores. there's no used panty machines. no people using weird inventions. it's a country with regular humans, anyone who expects anything else are retarded as fuck.

WAIT. So you're saying the Japanese AREN'T all Pokemon fighting for dragonballs? Well fuck that shit, should've wiped them off the planet YEARS ago if that was the case.

shit. damage done. i got challenged to a katana fight to the death. i died. be more careful with your words next time.

no, that's literally all other threads.

>Japan has way more of an anti foreigner sentiment.
not even near as bad as americans. japanese will still be nice and polite to you. americans still have segregation in their schools.

>Paris
As a French, my advice: don't go there. A 2 days stay to go around museums and get the fuck out of there. ANY other city will be better.

I live in Japan, I know only about Osaka area but there's a shitload of things to see.

London is the scourge of England, I live in England and I fucking despise it there.

>I would not go into a fucking maid caffé or anything like that either, I would die from the cringe

Got dragged into going to one once with my ex. It's way more fucking cringeworthy than you can imagine...

Picture going to a nine year old girl's tea party with a bunch of lonely, socially awkward grown otakus

You must be a really cool and interesting individual

I literally went there less than a month ago for about 2 weeks, so ask away.

5-6k depends on where you stay and how far you venture away from the city you fly into. If you're cool with staying in a hostel, you can get away with only spending ~30$ a night. Alternatively you can stay in a capsule hotel for about the same about, but you'll likely have to spend an extra few dollars a day for a locker.

The higher end places are Ryokans, traditionally style Japanese inns. I'd recommend you stay at least one night in one, just for the experience. Decent ones will run you about $150.

Fewer people will speak english than you expect, and the ones that are good at it will appear in random locations. In other words, unless you talk with other foreigners, expect your conversations to be a matter of pointing and single Japanese or English words for most of your stay.

Travel is all done by train/bus. You can get a Japan Rail Pass, but it's only valid for one railway, and only worthwhile if you ride the bullet train across the country a few times.

I spent most of my time traveling/hiking and seeing novel Japanese things. Hot springs are worthwhile experience as well.

Stay away from Pachinko.

Nara with the deer is absolutely based. It's a really cool experience.

Shinkansen is overrated. It's a train. It's a fast train, but just a train in the end.

No, I'm a fat dude who was raised on council estates and wanks excessively.

No wonder you don't like London

Exactly, it means I have to leave my house.

Lived 5 years in japan.

They don't speak english at all. It is very rare to find one that does. So not speaking japanese will be a problem.

You can stay for at least 2 weeks, probably 4 if you limit your spending with that budget.

>my house

thought you said you lived in a council estate

enjoy the bottom of society for as long as you live man

Bitch please, I'm trying to better myself. I was raised on council estates, I don't want my kids (if I have any) to live on one of these shitholes.

>Trying
>Still living on a council estate in your 20s

Didn't you say you were fat and an excessive masturbator? KEEP THINKING THAT BUDDY

19, I'm currently studying Joinery. Got two months left of the course and there is a job after it for me.
Next try user

Also the excessive masturbating was a lie user. I am fat but not ham planet fat

Dubs of truth and /thread

Probably for jap pussy...

Joinery..

I mean it pays but still I see why you and London have a bad relationship

do you know there names? left from right plz

Been stationed there for two years. Lot of cool sites. The people are fucking assholes

DON'T DIE ON ME THREAD

American xenophobia is more of a political phenomena I feel like. Americans may be (stupid/fat/loud/lazy/ignorant/violent) but they're also some of the friendliest people in the world along with Canadians. Especially compared to many European countries

Japanese are insanely polite and cool people who will break their backs to help you out but they're also all secretly terrified of foreigners (except for the rare few that can speak English). Unlike America, It's not common in Japan for strangers to talk to each other. Unless you can speak Japanese very well, don't expect to make many friends there. Also, expect to be catered to as a foreigner and get special treatment. Japanese will never treat you or consider you as an equal. You could live there your entire life but if you don't look Japanese, people will probably treat you like a retarded little child. Also they hate the Chinese

Basically, don't expect strangers in Japan to hold doors open for you, compliment you on your new shoes, smile at you while passing by, give you a hug after just meeting you minutes earlier, ask you how your days going

Why go there?

Thailand is so much better

the pussy is so good and so cheap

i rented out a girl for the week i think it cost me about 250 dollors.

Also fucked 3 ladybois got them all to lick and suck all my cum ;)

fuck japan overpriced shit ,full of faggots who treat you like niggers and stare at you cause you're not asian,
