The casinos are nothing too crazy, they're just casinos. I would strongly recommend Greektown over the other two because there are way more bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. The other two casinos exist for suburbanites to drive in and gamble away their lives while they chain smoke

I think it closes at night or something so whenever during the day. It is a bit of a hike from downtown if you don't have a car, so be aware of that. And it's a state park now so it costs money to get in via car but not from walking or biking. Great views of the city and freighters as they go by.

There is really no focus necessary for blackjack. You can just ask the dealer if you don't know what to do and they will tell you what "the book" says.
