Why are you building a moat around your mom's house?

How does it feel knowing I made almost $500 today sitting in a comfortable office looking at code and surfing the net?

Grandpa's house, and it's an irrigation trench because the basement keeps getting flooded.

you must be Mexican nice trench

You dug the foundation for a wall out? why isn't the wall finished?

That's two hours work there lad, not a 'day'

Good eye.
Yes, I'm a Garcia, but you couldn't tell by looking at me.

see

>digs out a bit of dirt
>calls it a honest day's work and quickly reaches for his phone to let everyone know

Now bury yourself in it faggot

I'm waiting for some clothes to wash.
Besides, what do you do?

That's not a question.

Are you going to put in a french drain with a sock, or what's the plan?

pic unrel

why does battlenet take 10 minutes to open and load on my otherwise fast computer? just that one program.

No.
You can't see it from the photo, but the hill slopes downward toward the house.
The trench diverts rainwater that would've gone into the basement around the house.
Not gonna add any pipes.

Ah.

Nice guy doing work for his grandpa, goodluck bud

What's your favorite kind of ice cream?

Chocolate I guess.

ive been helping a family member with yard work for awhile now. it is pretty rewarding.

What's your clockspeed?
If it's fairly high, I'm guessing the programmers fucked up when they optimized it.

make sure your antivirus isnt blocking it bro

Post a pic of your view right now.

Thanks!

How does it feel knowing you are a beta pussy bitchboy who will never know real physical work like a hung-dick MAN?

I know, right?
He's pretty old (84), so he can't do these kinds of things anymore, so I figured he could use a hand.

wait, that's it then? You'll leave the trench open? That's an ankle buster, man.

I'm no civil engineer, but I think something else needs to be done. I'm not trying to bait you, it's just that I'm not sure. My naighbor put in something called 4" ADL 'with sock' that was a black plastic hose that had a mesh over it. Then he buried it & said all was well.

kek
I trimmed some bushes today and I'm beat. I know where he's coming from.

if you live anywhere in the south of usa you it is. the heat sucks.

I got home about 40 minutes ago.
Sorry :(

I'm an oldfag, in my 50's. This really makes elders feel good. not kidding. Good for you b/ros!

Name a porn category, and for your trouble I'll post a pic from it. I have LOTS

Unless that fucker wraps around the WHOLE house, and you also lined it with gravel, sand, clay, and concrete, then this should NOT have taken you all day. It's what, a foot deep? By what, 12 feet long? You could have started at 8am, and been done before 10. Altruistic reasons for doing it aside, this amount of work should not be making you as proud of yourself as you are.

oh leave OP alone. How long it took him is none of your fucking business.

Yeah, I live in Texas.
Heat's a bitch.

Holy fuck are you the guy who was arguing with his neighbours about your property line???

Um, ebony lesbian milf? Who's also a midget?

You can tell this dickhead has never dug in anything that wasn't topsoil.

imo OP should have just rented a trencher from home depot for an hour.

Different guy.
Never heard of him.

I just got up to dump my piss jugs. i know how u fell OP. talk about a work out

This is my first scheduled day off in 12 days. I drank beer all day, and ordered a yummy chicken sandwich with cheesy fries from the local diner for dinner. I don't pat myself on the fucking back every time I exert a little physical effort over the course of my day, I'd break my fucking shoulder cus I'd have to do it so often. You seem uncommonly lazy for a spic, and should feel bad for bringing such shame on your heritage.

it's his business when he put his shitty picture on the internet and claimed shitty work ethic as not only honest, but days, and work. and dont tell him to leave op alone. why dont you leave that guy alone you stupid cunt?

He's not on your payroll, fuckup.

I forgot to add 'If I have it'
Here's a beach blowjob instead

Yeah, once I got a bit deeper the soil got rocky as fuck.
In the end I was doing most of the digging with the pick axe and my gloved hands.
And at first it seemed like it wasn't gonna be TOO bad so I didn't want to hire anyone.

What's it like to go outside?

>1982+33
>Still using piss jugs

It's time to upgrade to a piss bucket imo desu senpai

...

Ok, I'll bite:
Why the fuck did it take you a dwhole day to that?

>honest days work
>day
Looks like about an hour's work at best. Digging fire lines for a living is an honest day's work: I've seen guys do eight times pic related in an hour.

Really hot.
Weird how things aren't at a distance like they are online, it's always right in your face.
But it's far more rewarding.

so you will or will not fill it back in?

It's called entrenching pipe. It's got a solid wire mesh on the top of it, and a solid body under it. It's meant to be buried no more than 18inches deep, so surface drainage flows INTO the pipe and is then carried away from a structure. and I know what you mean user, it seems a little strange to leave an exposed ditch there for an 84yr old man to stumble into, and break his hip.

that hole was made by a trencher.
probably a walk- behind trencher.

Not fill it back in.

Yeah and drop dead at 40 from heart failure.

I agree,

you should find the source of the leak into the basement, asses the cost of repairing the leak

Seal the basement(if leak is not in foundation - cuz fuck that)
Dig a hole and insert a slotted bin with a sump
to divert water to either a fill pond(via sump)
or the roadway.

my grandparents had their garage flood a lot when it rains heavy, I found the leak is was in the foundation and would of cost thousands of dollars to repair.

instead I dug a hole and put a 3hp sump in and just pump the water to the road.

you'd want to get one with a weighted activator thing(cant remember name) that moves up and down with the volume of water. rather than one that hangs freely and floats up(as these can get caught on hoses/bin)

overall my solution costed about 300 dollars and some personal time. its really effective.

Sorry, but I don't do this sort of thing very often.
I heard my grandpa talking about how his basement keeps flooding and wanted to help.
I'm not a professional, or even very fit, by any means.

Where the fuck is the dirt going? Why didn't you use a wheel barrel? Are you going to fill it in with gravel? Did you buy grass seed? Are you gonna pressure wash and seal that fence next? Get the fuck off the internet and go finish your half assed project.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't think this through very much...
Have a nice day everyone.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Wanna know how I know what he needed to do? I used to dig trenches for electricians. I know how long it takes to dig a trench 3 feet deep by a foot wide by 60 feet long so power lines can be attached to the grid feed. I also know if OP didn't line that fucker well, then it's just gonna collapse after the first heavy rain. But seriously, tell me again how I have no clue what I'm talking about.

I do similar work daily. It's actually kind of nice to look at the work you did when it's done. I do a lot of landscape work and it's pretty cool to transform a yard from looking like a plain old grassy yard to there being trees, flowers, mulch, stone walkways and beds, shit like that.

Yeah, an automatic sump pump. You have to drill a hole into the floor, then down a bit.
If you do this, have an alarm for a power failure. My buddy never checked his basement and after a power failure it was ankle deep downstairs. Good plan though...

We got bamboozled.

bamboogarden.com/barrier installation.htm

You sound like a blue-collar shitstain with a 109 I.Q.

Sort of.
That's not my trench, but because I didn't think to take any pictures while I was there, I just found a very similar photo on Google Images.
Sorry if there was any misunderstanding.

So... You thought enough of your work to brag about it on an anonymous image board, but not enough to actually take a picture of it at the time?

Are you pic related?

Who the fuck are you
I've done this same thing at my house during hurricane sandy.
This is rough work and it takes longer than expected
Especially with big rocks you need to dig around to pull out.

god forbid there is any tree or plants near by then you have to pull up roots all day

It's best to fix the problem on the outside rather than compensate for it once it's inside

How did that take you all day?

kek'd

No. Are you? I'm a hard working individual, unlike your fat lazy virgin ass probably beating off to jinx rule 34. Talk about pathetic, I bet you haven't lost your virginity yet. The last tits you've touched were your mums you filthy twat. Go out and work in the sun like a real fucking man for once you arrogant prick

that was rude

Suck my nuts you inbred ingrate. I hope you choke on a weiner and get food poisining in your lungs

I used to work on an oilrig with no internet.

I would literally start making meth than work that shit 14 hour a day job.

kek, is that all you did in a day? and you call that hard days work.

is it for french drain op?
THat shit sucks to dig.
Why didnt you dig it closer to the house faggot?
Ur room is still gonna flood in the basement.

That's why you have a pickaxe, to go under large rocks, and pull them out, or through roots. You make it sound like the hardest thing in the world to dig a trench. I did it for 6 years, yes it sucks, yes it's hot, yes it is back breaking, but if you just think your way through the obstacles it is NOT difficult to move a ton of dirt in a very short time.

I make $75k+ a year(while being off in the winter) doing something I enjoy and get to be outside all day.

well you're like a faggot

I work on a loading dock son. I lump freight all fucking day. Try tossing a trailer full (750-1100 cases) of 150 pound boxes by hand. Then come talk to me about being hard working.

This nigger.

I paid $2000 for some Mexicans to replace my main line water pipe. They had to dig the same amount. I'm so glad I'm not poor

How did your little trench hold out in the 8 foot storm surge? Meet me in belmar at 7/11

I used to do hay in 53 foot trailers, and they only fit roughly 800 of the smallest bales, if we were lucky.

I really can't think of anything small enough that would weight 150 pounds, and be able to fit 750-1100 of on a single trailer

try doing "an honest days work" all day, everyday, for the last 18 years. Not digging ditches, but hard none the less.

Point is, this is what people do in the actual real world. I don't exactly what you have been doing your whole life, but you don't get rewarded for just 1 day. faggot

I work in a General Merchandise warehouse, we unload everything from patio furniture, and grills, to shipper cases of bicycles, and TV's, and everything in between. You ever see a shipper case of MasterLock braided chords? There are 40-70 of them in a single case, they weigh between 2 and 3 pounds each, but the case is only 18-24 inches long, and about a foot high/wide.

You talk about coding as it if were not miserable and unfulfilling drudge work.

I work at Gamestop and have an additional job in retail get on my level dealing with other peoples shit is the hardest of all

Full days work?
14 foot 6 inch deep by 5 inch width ditch took all day
must be a nigger, or a wet back

Retail is SOUL CRUSHING. I couldn't do that shit, and still remain sane. I'd prolly wind up setting the place on fire.

The ditch is clearly infront of each portion of fence.

But, did you wear a trenchcoat?

if it took you all fucking day to dig that you are either a lazy nigger or fatter than fuck.

Did you get a blister? I bet poor little sandy puss wore gloves... am I rite?

fucking faggot

I do that every day, step up bitch.

I wanna quit my sales job and work with my hands somehow, I feel alpha as fuck when I fix stuff or build stuff

so who here actually likes their job? and what is it?

Its allright Im a bro, most people are chill
but Ive had a mom standing in front of the register breaking her sons games that were aged 16 and 18 because he was 15. I asked if she wanted to sell them back to us, she didnt. she just wanted them to be worth nothing

i had to do that for day labor before. never again.

I dug ditches better than back when i was a rookie.

I do commercial roofing it's fun
