This is a Ruger SR40c. It is the best everyday carry I've ever owned. It holds 9+1 40 cal rounds holstered and I carry an extended 15 round backup magazine in the same holster. That's 25 40 cal rounds.

You'd never be able to tell I was carrying it if you ran into me on the street. I LOVE the trigger. I've never shot as accurate with any other firearm. .45 is great from a full size pistol but sub compact .45 lacks velocity. I've seen ballistic gel tests where a .45 out of a sub compact gun will not expand hollow points. .45 is already a very big and slow bullet, shooting it out of a very short barrel makes the bullet too slow in my opinion.
.45 is my favorite pistol round from a full size gun but I think the higher velocity rounds like .40 and 9mm are better from a sub-compact carry pistol. They operate at higher pressures and can accelerate the bullet better from a short barrel.

I live in New York City, where yes, Libtards gun control is rampant. However, street sense always outweighs attempting to use a gun.
