This is a ducks foot, guns like it were designed for boarding actions in naval warfare.
The ships were cramped and tiny but full of people so these weapons were destructive and effective at clearing rooms

this is fucking cool
Any idea how to load it? Looks like it would take a while.
>Yo dawg I heard you like revolvers
Yeah they're barrel loaded so it's just the same as any other flintlock pistol only you have to do it 4 times.
It does take ages.
Check out this one too

It's a 7 barrelled rifle
That one seems semi handy in a trench fight....

That's what it was built for. It was a crazy idea that somewhat worked.

...I don't understand the point of the toilet seat.
Why?
comfort in battle
Punt gun...usually 8 or 4 bore.
For when you absolutely, positively, have to kill every motherfucking duck on the lake at once...
fucking ian would. haha badass
It's the shit n' shoot. Why else?
Lee Enfield No 4 Mk1?
Yes unfortunately....poor old .303
Not 8 bore - that'd still be shoulder-mounted (just)
As an aside, do you know how the Bore Number is derived? It's the number of equally-sized balls in a pound of lead where the ball would fit exactly in the bore (as per a musket ball)
>poor old .303
I assume you're referring to the treatment of a fine weapon (of its time) in that picture and not the weapon itself?
Looks like something you'd see in saints row
Yep...interesting bit of trivia that...I could be wrong but I think "4 bore" guns might be the largest actual "rifles" and after that they start being labelled in "pounds" such as "two pounder", etc.
Definitely. A friend has about six versions from down through the years, from the No 1 right up to the No 4 and even a Jungle Carbine version. Great rifles.
