Any guitar fags out there
Im planning to buy a esp ltd lmh100qmnt quilt maple top
Is it good if not what guitar should I buy
Any guitar fags out there
Bump
>good guitar
>LTD
Pick one.
In all seriousness, I would go for an epiphone les paul for the solid sound and great overall feel.
just don't buy anything with the word "Professional" in the model name, they're invariably shitty
Bassfag here, just ordered this exact fender American standard P.
Took me a year to save for it tho
Alright, LTD is okay. Sure, they got some good stuff, but one of the biggest factors is this: what fucking genre are you going to be playing?
Post hardcore and something like cage the elephant if you don't know the band its basically alternative rock garage rock punk blues blues rock indie rock
Also how long have you been playing? ESP's have the thin, unpainted necks where epiphones are painted and I feel "slower" for a new player that can't compensate
Not a bad guitar for the money. Stick some nicer pickups in there. Take care of it. Should be good times.
What's your price range? Also, WILL this be your first guitar, or what?
For a year
200-600 also it's not
ltd is trash get a real esp
Honestly, I'd say go for an Ibanez or a mid/low range schecter. I'll get back to you in a bit with models, but both clean up pretty well but will still give a good crunch when you want it
>cheap superstrat
do you want to be teh shred lord?
Well, as a player of 19 years, I've always loved ibanez guitars. I've owned Gibson, LTD, Dean, Jackson, Washburn, etc. Always came back to my RG's answer S bodies. They are versatile guitars and pretty fairly priced. I would get an RG in the $400 range or save a little more for the entry level S bodies. So comfortable to hold and play.
I'd say either an Ibanez s521 or a schecter c-6 plus
Both look really solid but well priced. One thing though: Floyd Rose or nah.
I love having a Floyd rose, but only ever used it in covers. Schecters are great guitars too, I used to have a couple of their 7 strings. Anyways, if you intend on using vibrato or dive bombs Floyd's are great. If not, bother with them. They can be a pain in the dick
i have an ltd mhb400 and its gold. i also had a ltd v200 and it was also very fucking great, espeacially the tone.
ltd is alright
I would recommend getting somewhere to test out an S body first, they are so light and sit so well when you hold them. Very, very comfortable guitars.
American standard stratocaster
I LOVE having to restring 2 strings at a time then battling with springs when I want to change string gauge or tuning! What's the to complain about? :D
Obvious beginner. Buy Epiphone or Squier.
Anyone wanna buy me an electric guitar, 2 poor
Check pawn shops. You can buy some cool shit sometimes, dudes don't know what they have and sell it cheap. Save some pennies and get a cheap Ibanez man.
Don't get me wrong, the double locks are fucking great. But you better be dead fuckin set on your tuning if you get a Floyd setup. That tinkering and shit is the reason why we would rather spend another $6-700 on an additional guitar for that tuning lol. God I hate maintaining Floyds....
I'm looking for a combo amp that's versatile but mostly for metal and hard rock. Any suggestions? Somone recommended a Peavey 6505.
I currently use a Fender Mustang 4 and people go wtf when they see it.
bump
absolutely nothing wrong with a mustang.
people go wtf because they are shallow vain faggots
Go for it. I'd rocked out in various bands on an ec100qm for 5 years; it was reliable enough. I definitely liked the feel of it over over guitars in the price range.
Ibanez RG421 or similar. Of the guitars I've tested, Ibanez seems to make the best budget superstrats. Buying used is also an option as well as saving for a better guitar.
Epiphone? lol
Buy a used ESP Horizon NT or an ESP M2 if a floyd rose is not a dealbreaker for you . The same moment you will buy the ltd you will start wishing that it was a real ESP and you will start saving money for purchasing one . Well, just skip this step and buy one already . The prices should not be that far up from your budget .
