ITT: Bands with 10+ albums that only released 1 good album

...

wrong

right

Even if you count The Afterman as 2 albums, they only have 8 albums total. And IKSSE:3 is the best one.

But Grotesque and Bend Sinister

Wrong, that's also pretty bad.

...

They have a ton of good tracks s but this is their only good album imo

this

The first three are pretty tight actually. Not sure if I would be a fan if I discovered them now, but those three hold up.

Although its stupid to say thats the only good album OP, I agree the newer music just doesn't cut it for me. Once Welcome Home was released in guitar hero I knew it was all over.

Not even in their top 3

You're just a faggot tbqhwyf

the Afterman (ascension and descension) were better than second stage by far.

is it possible to have a serious coheed discussion on this board? i'm a longtime fan that would love to hear some other opinions on their discog

nah

We can try

I'm quite a casual fan of theirs, listened to a few of their songs back in 2012 - when Ascension came out I absolutely loved it, it's still one of my favourite albums. I never could get into Claudio's grand concept of the Amory Wars, but at least the Afterman albums were solid enough to hold up their own concepts by themselves.

Pretty good live, wasn't blown away and disappointed they didn't play anything from Ascension; their latest album is alright but the whole concept driven album thing is Coheed's foundation - without it they're just average

Tsms isn't even as good as Signify

>Only good album
>S/T, Powerslave, Piece of Mind, Somewhere in Time, and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son are better
Okay

First 3 are good, fourth has some of their best songs, fifth is underrated. Second Afterman is pretty good.
Are you fucking kidding? Stupid Dream is an amazing alt-rock album.

King Crimson.

Not even good bait.

...

All their albums are passable, a few might not be revolutionary, but they've consistently put out good music.

I like blue almost as much as I like pinkerton.
