Post an album and its best song

>1969

dawn chorus though

>I Don't Love

Honestly it's impossible to choose the best song. Even some of the interludes are incredible. But if I had to pick one it'd be Gyroscope, since it sounds like nothing else.

Sorry, I never liked that track.

Also

>Skipping hour, Heathen, and Reality
Friend you need to get to listening to heathen ASAP. That album is amazing.

Get On The Stage

I've listened to Heathen before, and it's a fine album its just not one I've felt the need to revisit in a while

Well I highly recommend you do some time, for me personally it's one of my top 5. I thought it was fantastic.

Any Boards of Canada CD... Every song on every album is the best as a whole..

Still Music Has the Right to Children with Roygbiv.. Probably my favorite song of all time.

I'll have to listen again at some point. Bowie is my favorite artist so I'll enjoy it no matter what

I agree with you save for Tomorrows Harvest, which I weirdly felt indifferent towards. My favorite MhtRtC song is Aquarius

He's my favorite too.
What's your favorite/least favorite of his albums? (Feel free to give multiples)

Mayonaise

Dawn Chorus
Blood hail
666 "upside down cross"
The Goldheart Mountaintop Queen Directory
Dark Center of the Universe
Stepkids

Pork Soda

When the Sun Hits

You're literally the only other person I've seen post this album. I love it and agree with that statement

Favorites would be the Berlin period as well as Hunky Dory. Ziggy Stardust is legendary in its own right but I feel like it has less to uncover than say Low or Heroes. I still find new things to hear on Low and I've listened to that album in excess. Let's Dance is imo his last great album before The Next Day and Blackstar came out. Scary Monsters a side is also literally 10/10 all the way through.

Least favorite would be probably Never let me Down for obvious reasons. Black Tie White Noise always left me without much impression also. Hours was even worse in that regard but it was at least completely inoffensive. His first self titled doesn't really lend itself to repeated listens.

>Black Tie White Noise always left me without much impression also

You seem like a nice guy but that part fucked me up, senpai.

Man I don't even know it just left me without fulfillment. It felt rather insincere.

I..IT.It might just need another listen!
Yeah! That's it...
Just give it another chance.
I mean you gotta at least like Looking for Lester, right?
RIGHT???

Yeah it's a fine song. It's one of my less listened to Bowie albums so who knows maybe will click sometime

I can't decide between Alison and Souvlaki Space Station.

Dicking around aside, it was actually my first introduction to Bowie.

I was watching a top 10 list a long time ago, Bowie was on it, and "Jump They Say" was one of the songs they played for him. And for me it was a fantastic song.

(Nice trips).

My first (knowing) intro to Bowie was the Space Oddity video, which made me look into the Life on Mars video. I listened to Ziggy Stardust and after that I was hooked

smothered in hugs

one of the best, but number one would have to be the wozard of iz

Usually I like surprises when I get into artists.
I listened to about 10-15 songs of his, then bought all of his albums and listened to them all in a row over 3 or 4 days 2 years ago (during Christmas time). And all but 2 albums I LOVED.

(Of course I grew slightly more critical towards them but I still enjoy all but the 2).

Yeah Bowie is really what made me get into music. Before listening to him I mostly kept to pop music, some hip hop and a little dad rock. Now it's like everything

I think I was somewhat varied before I got into Bowie.

But hell, Bowie's more varied than...Any other artist I can think of.

You Could Feel the Sky
agreed
Colours
Guitar Hero 3 lol
