any ausfags give me some legal advice plz
basically racked up $1400 in speeding tickets (so far) a couple of them were in the same day, amounts to 13 demerit points which is already a loss of license, is it worth taking it to court to try and at least get rid of the ones that were on the same day? are there any options where I don't lose my license (need it to go to work)

I saw a guy in court front up with a nice shirt and a lawyer defending him when he did too much crazy shit in his car. I think there is a number with free legal advice you can call and you get connected with a dude who will know the law better.

ausfag here, how the fuck is that even possible.

thanks for the advice bro

nah you will lose the licence but you can get a dispensation so you can drive to and from work only when you go to court. Just ask your lawyer for this.

i drive on the m3 to get to work most days, let my boot down after a hard day and usually just end up pushing 110kmh+, by the time the first fine came through in the mail i knew i was fucked as im usually doing 110 on there anyway

here's a wild idea: don't be an asshole on the roads endangering other people's lives.

you earned those points, own themm

shieeeee cause on on me probationary license anyway so i literally got 5 points to spare im already 8 over lol

lesson learnt believe me

What state do you live in?

My old man years ago got out of a losing his licence in the same situation, when the you to court the judge asks if you have questions and you say "I need my licence to support my family" and fingers crossed they'll let you off and they may put you on one of those don't do anything wrong for 12, 24 or even 36 months.

Also consider and discuss with your lawyer participating in an educational course on safe driving. This will have a dual fold effect: garner the magistrate's sympathy and prevent you from killing someone someday
