They are both Germanic languages, dear ameripleb.

*Does

English is like a lego tower of different languages so maybe.

>American education

Is this a joke?

They're similar. Take this sentence for example:

Hoi schattig. Je ben mijn gefavorit anoniempje. Ik kus je

Hi sweetie. You are my favorite little-user. I kiss you

As you can tell you can see where the similarities and differences lie.

>Hi sweetie. You are my favorite little-user. I kiss you
>Hola dulce. Eres mi pequeña anónima favorita. Te beso.
Wtf? Can you right the first sentence in english in a manner that makes sense?

>Amurigan edgeuhmuhcashun

this, due to modern english having old english and germanic grammar, other germanic language are structured similar

Kek did you use Google Translate for that sentence in Dutch?

Huh? It makes total sense.

*write

It's English's closest relative.

t. cunnilingus

>Hi sweetie. You are my favorite little-user. I kiss you
How does that makes sense to you? Do you see yourself saying to anyone that she is your favorite (for whatever reason, even if she does not know you) hence you'll kiss her? What the actual fuck that's like poo in the loo facebook harassment tier

Hi sweetie. You are my favorite little-user. I kiss you :3

So now you understand what's wrong with you weebos and why you don't get gfs

Saluton karulo. Vi estas mia plej ŝatata anoneto. Mi kisas vin :3

This is no proper Dutch at all

Dutch is like a lovechild between Germany and England

>Dat is goed.
>That is good.

Yes, they have a common ancestor, Frisian.
English has been Frenched though.

No frisian is something else. Dutch is from Frankish.

No, but he should have.

>wat is deze
>deze is niet goed
>ik poep-poep.
>Ik weel Nederlanders meisjies deze avond neukt.

As you can see, Dutch is a very simple language. The grammar is almost like English, to speak Dutch, you just write out your sentence in English, move the verb to the end, add ge- to make it past tense, and replace English words with their Dutch spellings if you know them. You don't have to, though, Dutch is very tolerant with this and the meaning should be conveyed regardless. The Dutch are usually very helpful in /nederdraad/ to converse with you and help with your grammar.

To be honest you have to give the Dutch credit, they are able to compose a sentence in English and transliterate it on the fly to Dutch while they speak. Honestly I think it's an obsolete language because of this extra step. They should just switch to English.

btw the English translations for my sentences would be

>what is this
(wat is actually spelled this way in Dutch [lol] so they don't have the "wat" meme. Instead they say "what")

>this is not good.

>I poo-poo

>I will fuck Dutch cuties this afternoon.

What the fuck are you doing

You aren't speaking Dutch at all though. Google translate would do a better job.

Although Dutch and English are indeed similar in many respects. You are just not doing a good job of demonstrating it.

...

Hoi schatje. Jij ben mijn favoriete anoniempje. *kust je*

Franks were in Belgium not Holland

fucking americans

And what do *you* know about Dutch?

hoi schatje.

You're wrong, except for Frisia, Low countries was dominated by the Franks.

Its the other way around. We spoke old-dutch before anyone even considered speaking english

Frisian is the closest non meme language to German

>Frisian
>Not a meme language

Frisian is a meme dialect.

Here you go.

Pretty sure Scandinavian languages are closer.

pretty sure Dutch and English are both west germanic languages and the scandinavian languages are north germanic

...

>Yiddish
Eheheh

wat is er aan de hand jongen? Dat klopt gewoon hoor, Jiddisch is een soort van verkrachte versie van het Duits.

Hebreeuws (waaraan je misschien denkt) daarentegen is een Semitische taal.
