between Libertarianism and Libertarian Capitalism

Between social democratize and left libertarianism

radical centrist

Between authoritarianism, and conservatism

Radical centrism

This doesn't really work, nor does classifying someone as left or right work in the slightest. Many people can be on both opposite corners, most are mixed and don't properly fit within labels, despite their tendency to assume labels.

Whenever I take one of those tests I typically get a result in the bottom-left quadrant but the actual justification for my policy preferences (political power should be very decentralized, conformity is good, "human rights" are memes, things should be done for the good of your nation and not some arbitrary "universal good" or personally getting richer, consumerism is bad) always sounded pretty fascist-ish to me.

This

All of these spectrum analogies, diagrams, and quizzes are poo

I always thought I'd fit somewhere in Nationalism, Facism or Traditionalism, but everytime I do the test I get the middle.

I landed somewhere near left-libertarianism and anarcho-socialism

hello
i am a communist
i god Stalin many times.
i pray his shrine to warld be equality every-morinig

This.
Why must autists and retards keep trying to label everything and put everything in charts and graphs. Its not healthy.

...

...

...

Don't know. My compass changed according to my mood.

...

Nailed it

...

categorizing things obsessively is a trait of autism

Maybe controlling their reality helps their worldview

It's really good to read this for once, thank you. By the way, I'd like to add that one can be on both opposite corners when, for example, they live in a country, but would think differently if went living in other specific place.

I'm assuming it scales from "Society was good to me today" and "fuck society" ?

either anarcho communism or anarcho collectivist

...

...

Statism desu

More like "fuck the government liberty lmao" to "Globalism is actually a good thing goy" to "Forward comrade, For the peoples and workers YRAAAA!!!" to "Sieg Heil internally"

...

what does this make me

mutualistic liberal ultra-capitalist, with a dash of fundamentalism and syndicalism

imperial succession based on merit is the best form of government, but also one of the easiest to go horribly wrong

kinda like how winning the lottery is the fastest way to become rich, but its a terrible plan to set into motion

anarchists are slaves to their desires who shouldnt be in charge of shit
communists are idiots who dont test their ideas out in the real world

I like america's cyclical approach, protect and promote the majorities rights for 4-8 years, then protect/promote the minorities rights for 4-8 years
going in any one direction without ever stopping is pants on head retard, for example: germany (pick a year, any year)

this looks like a good test, can you post it

Left-Libertarianism.

Although a lot of people have trouble believing that I'm libertarian (because I support law and order and capable governments) and others have trouble believing I'm on the left (because I'm pro market, and so pro free trade that I oppose not only tariffs but also broad based sales taxes).

Some sort of Stalin/Pol Pot commie demon child

>but also broad based sales taxes
you aren't left, nigga

economic: -6.93 social: -6.24

apparently anarcho-socialism
i wouldn't say that though

these tests have questions about to what extent religion should be "official", but to be honest the question kind of pisses me off

what I want and consider kind of important is having a national religion taught in schools and used as a prominent part of ceremonies, but at the same time no laws requiring adherence to that religion and a wide social recognition that the religion isn't really that serious or close to reality; sort of like shinto for the japanese

of course, "state religion" in a western quiz means "do you want your country to be a christian/muslim theocracy", which I most certainly don't and would much prefer secularism instead, even if it leads to the weakening of national culture

>you aren't left, nigga
Actually I retook the test last week and found I'd moved further away from liberalism, I'm further to the left, and indeed more libertarian, than the first time I took it.

As I said, some people have trouble believing me.

It may help if you understand that just because I oppose broad based sales taxes doesn't mean I think taxes overall are too high. I just think the burden should be shifted off sales onto income/profits and land.

And although I oppose broad based sales taxes, my opposition doesn't extend to hypothecated sales taxes on products with significant externalities. For instance I support fuel taxes as long as the revenue is spent on transport infrastructure and mitigating the environmental effects of fuel use.

...

these

>I oppose broad based sales taxes
Ooooh, I read that wrong the first time
Sorry, been drinking

what does this make me

A Social D*mocrat, by the looks of it

Privyet comrade

I'm in the libertarian camp but I support fairly strong environmental regulations provided they don't become too harsh on average people.

Big problem with sales tax is how much it hurts poor people. Income tax is by far the most reliable and fair imo. Along with different taxes from different asset classes, and lower business taxes.

I'd be okay paying higher personal income taxes if my company got taxed less so they could hire people to make my work easier or pay me more, but if my food started costing an extra 7-10% I'd start getting more pissed. I'd buy more things online.

>filteries.com/politics

This is pretty cool. Could definitely use a little more detail into the budgeting (ie what's in which sector) but pretty cool overall.

left liberatarianism.

I love this test. I don't really mean everything I chose there, just saying, that would be bullshit. Also, I forgot to change Neutral to Expansionist.
/r/ books that help me understand economy and taxes.

anyone else here VERY easily lead? I've been everything at some point or another but now I think it's settled down to vaguely leftist apathy

yes
weird, link works for me.
yeah i agree as a christian i do want a secular government that tips its hat to religious values but i dont want state atheism or whatever europe does nowadays you know

>Big problem with sales tax is how much it hurts poor people.
fuck that, increase sales tax, it impacts others who may not pay taxes otherwise
(Illegals, tourists, people who are paid "under the table")
make a universal basic income, then double or triple the sales tax so that it eats away most of that basic income right away

if you have no job, then better start saving, or investing in a food source, or a capital generating venture

if you do have a job to pay you on top of a basic income, then your spending on sales tax will be higher than the basic income you got, resulting in the government making money from the employed, and giving money to those who are umemployed

bruh

yeah i know how you mean, i used to be like that a long time ago. though im basically everything now lmao.

>You must be 18 years or older to use this website

That could work, too, but UBI is somewhat difficult to implement because of homeless people, institutionalized people, etc. Anyone not registered in databases. Also makes paranoids go nuts. Coming up with all that money can also be hard.

You are right that it's a good way to get tax money out tourists and other non-citizens though. Would probably work exceptionally well in a tourist economy, especially if they were working to diversify. The worry is really just on the ability to come up with that money and then still fund public offices.

>whoops

got it too

think we're just so contrarian and edgy we broke it

it's so stupid to I've NEVER seen a good one of these

I know exactly how they'll classify every question they ask and since I agree on both sides I know ahead of time it'll just put me somewhere weird in the center

...

I'm also like you too. When I was middle-schooler, I'm pretty much Osama bin Laden fan. When I was highschooler to late teen, I'm subscribed to Communism. Now I subscribed to Skepticism.

>I'm pretty much Osama bin Laden fan

is that like praising fascists in the west? or more like praising the unibomber or some other wacko?

we americans can't lose :)

...

God damn it I love Trump

Thoughts on this?

...

Most muslim think that Osama was a hero and freedom fighter who fight against the enemy of Islam.

...

>he's running a deficit

honestly this picture makes me feel pretty good for some reason, like he panders to all the weird esoteric political beliefs us proles subscribe to because the only thing he cares about is people and subsequently power

I didn't even look at that half, you expect me to put forth real effort? I'll be honest it's 2:30 and I've been drinking all night.

I think IMMIGRATION should be allowed for students but only under the condition they'll work here

>generic student/european

probably actually the easiest way to live desu

I wasn't sure about some things.

Ok, I'm retarded, how do I edit the map? Photoshop?

...

really neat how when these threads are outside of Sup Forums it's not a million people trying to get to the top right corner or the top center

I don't even disagree with them at a basic level it's just really good to have people with different opinion

>caring about being a sovereign in debt
just cut back on science until youve made as much money as you want, run a debt until you are at a comfortable enough standards of living and/or industry, rinse and repeat

protip: run a huge debt, goad someone weaker into declaring war against you, kick their ass or get some friends to help, and stick the loser with your bill
gotta get lucky and play it by ear to accomplish that tho

left libertainism, -4.5,-4.6

Also SIGNIFICANTLY less shitflinging

We can't all hope to have militaries the size of the US. What if we lose the war?
Also I feel like if you do that, you have to have trade clout. So that people still know you'll pay them back. Debt isn't bad, just dangerous if not handled reliably.

On that note, I fixed my deficit.

>I am a competent user of this website

I don't get death penalty for murder. I support it for treason and internationally for war criminals but murder is a lot less cut and dried than either of those things. There's so much to take into account with crimes like that, not the least significant is that it's a lot harder to prove without a shadow of a doubt. I see killing serial killers and people like that but I'd almost consider that euthanasia

Updated. Would like there to be an option for the Death penalty for Crimes like Theft when done repeatedly.

why not just kick them out of the country?

>We can't all hope to have militaries the size of the US. What if we lose the war?

thats why I said get lucks
run a debt for 10-20(or is 40-60 more realistic?) years(improving the nations capabilities as you do), if you cant get a war started by then make some big budgets cuts for 5-10 years, once out of debt either gain a surplus if youre still superior to neighbors, or start running a deficit again if youve fallen behind( or a nearby "enemy" nation is starting to get civil unrest or other opportunities are begining to appear)

but yea, geography plays a huge enough role that no one set of ideas will work best for every possible nation

Wasn't nation-states kinda like this? Never played it.

I think the "make budget cuts" option is far more reliable, and also doesn't tank your reputation or put you in the position of possibly being killed. As Americans we have a remarkable position, historically, that war means very little if any damage to the homeland, so I think we have to remember that being in a war can be utterly devastating. Remember that it took the Marshall plan, the formation of the EU, and many other things to really rebuild Europe after WWII. Syria's going to take forever to get back up.

I should get my ass in gear and actually make that game I keep telling myself I'm gonna make but I can't make opengl not suck and I don't want to use an engine because they're shit.

>Wasn't nation-states kinda like this? Never played it.
Don't touch it
It's even worse than Sup Forums

t. been on it every day for 1,5 years

>Left

>Wasn't nation-states kinda like this? Never played it.
whats nation states? ive never heard of it

its a stratagy i sometimes use in paintimulator IV, but also one that many nations seem to have used in the real world

I'm not putting Career Criminals in other countries.

Running a deficit is often the best policy. As long as your government issues its own fiat currency (and lets the market determine its value) you have unlimited credit.

Don't get me wrong - just because there's no limit doesn't mean there's no consequences. Although there's no danger of hyperinflation, you do still need to deal with inflation. This can be done either by limiting government spending, or by increasing taxes or interest rates so that the private sector reduces its spending. But for the last eight years, inflation has been low; the problem has been too little spending rather than too much.

centralist-authoritarianist

kind dumb given im a christain and not really heavly political just on christian issues lol.

I'm only against veiws they don't abide by christian law (aka ten commandments) and moral law.

I'm anti- femisium and anti Political correctness,
because they volition of the law regrading free speach and sexism towards men based on blanket politics.

I'd rather make it easier for businesses to make a profit (with good infrastructure, education, low interest rates and reasonably strong demand) than taxing their profits less.

Not everyone who's not currently paying tax should pay tax!

Land taxes are the best way of getting tax from others who may not pay taxes otherwise. Without the land tax, the money would just inflate land prices.

A UBI is an extremely inefficient solution; ultra expensive and the government gets nothing in return. Far better to give all citizens the right to work for the government if they want to.

I'm a social democrat but I hate social and I know the wrongs of democracy

I'm a really conflicted person.
