for both: generally with interlude tracks you want to have a really good melody or some sort of mood building and that just didn't happen for me

NES: the synth sound and overall melody get tired kinda quickly, if you could layer some similar stuff over then maybe it'd be better ??

Sounds cool, nice dreamy samples and a solid drum beat to head bob to. With that being said, you aren't doing anything different or unique than what about 60% of the posters in these threads make. If that's the sole niche you want to make music like then that's all good and fine, keep improving and perfecting it, I'm just being frank. I'm sure that your musical fingerprint will start to form over time though so just keep going and try to challenge yourself from time to time.

Like the guitar work. Very midwest-emo sounding. The background vocals were a nice touch as well. This sounds like a mixture of AF and Moving Mountains, very emotional stuff. Really the main thing I would critique is just the lead vocals. Your singing voice isn't terrible but it has some edges that could use some smoothing out is all. Intonation practice will help out a lot.

Liked the guitar work a lot and the drums have a nice sense of forward-driving motion. I think you set the overall mood of the track really well with the chord progression and occasional lead guitar part. Biggest critique, like some people who commented on the track said, your singing could be improved on. Mainly in the pitch; the melodic ideas are there but your ability to sing them at the correct pitch isn't quite there. You work on that though and bam, this track will be really good.
