I have no idea, sorry. I saved that from some obscure website while looking around for don cab stuff.
Don Caballero
resolution is great, I just don't really like reading long articles like this on my computer. Might just save them all and print it tomorrow haha
That's before it is distributed to the band members, which there are 4, and which the manager takes their cut. At that point, your probably still financing certain aspects of the bands finances on your own (funding shirts up front etc.) You still have to cover gas and lodging, daily. Also food. Also you still have all your bills at home to cover too. So while it might look like you're making almost 19$ an hour if you break it down an 8 hour work day, your expenses are extremely high. Also if there is some kind of issue (van breaking down) you're paying for it out of your own pocket.
It's not very lucrative or glamorous.
>I love pretty much all they did.
even stuff like "Punkgasm" and "World Class Listening Problem"?
that's going too far for me
I still find those enjoyable to listen to, yeah.
I don't get the hate for those. Maybe I'm a pleb. Aside from not having the same grit as their earlier stuff and the inclusion of vocals, it's not that different than what they usually do.
For a band of their caliber you're absolutely right. Just thinking about this as someone who tours on the DIY circuit, it seems unfathomably great haha. Also, inflation. But you're still right.
