So when I refer to decent emo, I tend to refer to bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Joie De Vivre, Capn Jazz, Penfold, The Van Pelt, etc. The reason I refer to them as this is because they seem to deal with a very mundane style sadness that one deals with everyday life.
Why is it that this album is often regarded as a quintessential emo album? It's melodramatic, commercialised garbage. Basically what introduced bands like Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Funeral For a Friend.

Yeah! This is nice. The lyrics are a little funny but whatever I'm an airchair artist tonight. The guitar was sick with the keys on the first half. Then they did the two guitar panned to each ear with some cool noodling. I definitely like the noodling with a more moderately paced beat
