maybe try to have some noisier or more staticky structures for variety I.e. Aphex's rhubarb which this reminds me of too

i'd work a little on either making those drums a bit more like a machine or real drums and not in between :P

maybe a really simple bassline too, you'd have some GOOOD salvia palth stuff going there then

lots of nice stuff going on here. would be cool with some more variation in texture/timbre if you're going to make more music in this style.

some dry elements/crispy sounds to make the wetness more immersing and the overall soundscape more lush. field recordings, staccato samples or other things you could sneak into the mix

yeah, all right. I guess it just sounds a little "boxed in" if you get me. lif you'd just vary the samples and not use the same kick/snare for an entire song but do some automation or something. adding some reverb here and there etc - letting the parameters that control timbre/dynamics be a more integrated part of the whole thing
