how is this build?
How is this build?
All good, but get an i7. Your GPU will get bottle necked with an i5
6700 or 6700k?
A 980 TI might be better for the cost as a graphics card and as far as peripherals with your budget you should try to get a good mechanical keyboard and a better mouse. I would recomend a corsair k70 as a keyboard and a more expensive gaming mouse.
you wont get the bottleneck,
but the r9 fury, wy dont you buy a gtx1070 or1080
they are same price/scheaper and a lot better
Get a 6700k. great for the price and better than the i5.
Expensive
LOL A FUCKING I5
Get a 1080 instead of a r9 fury
>recommending maxwell when first pascal cards are out
It might be better right now, but it most likely won't be better in 6 months.
Of course, spending that much of a GPU right now is silly, when 1080 is already out and AMD's new high-end GPUs will be coming in a few months.
you're right. I haven't been keeping up with the new graphics cards and shit. OP, you should try and get a 1080.
Or wait for 480, and get Fury's performance for $200.
One more thing, you might want to get a better Power supply incase you want to upgrade in the future and need more power. Maby get a 800w
>$2000 build
>get shitty $15 speakers
I mean, if those are your priorities then sure, but...
wrist strap no need bro
already have headphones, speakers are just for when im too lazy/font feel like using headphones
ive changed a few things
the mouse and speakers are backups
where i live the gtx 1080 are all around 300-400$ more
This is much better than the original. I would just stick with this build Mr. OP.
nerds
Hell yeah man.
also, the r9 fury is around the same price as the 980
ill probably stick with this, however should i change the case? case doesnt really matter for me but im not too sure whether i shoul get one with more space
You might want to look around for more cases but it doesn't make much of a difference.
Well, Fury performs within a few percent of 980ti in most cases, and 980 is more competitive with 390x.
That cpu cooler is likely massive. I know i have a dedicated GPU cooler that says 120mm but ends up being slightly larger and very very thick. Be aware of micro-ATX cases in that regard.
duude I bought that monitor off of Ebay from Asus's Referb store for $140 and I have no problems with it. Look there for a cheaper one
