Not only are these good songs, but I can tell you worked to get the best performances you could on them.
That's the strength of it.

+1 (You)
As I have said before. You have the technical competency and the production down; now color outside the lines a little bit.
So many of you would benefit so much from just throwing in some rarely-used jazz chords or buying a didgeridoo or something. I truly believe this. Toss in something unusual. Not necessarily weird, ugly or avant-garde- just unusual.
See what I said to the above guy. Overall though, this has a nice flow, the climactic ending is nice and so are the wonky sound effects at the end.
Again, see what I said to the first guy. Come on, people. Use your virtuosity to make something great. I believe in y'all.
Actually maybe discard my opinion entirely, maybe throw it in the trash, because this sounds kind of generic to me. Nothing sticks out that much. But it seems very popular...I'll have to give it more of a dedicated listen later. In the meantime, I declare it overrated. Crucify me, Sup Forums.

But thanks for the feedback, actually am looking into expanding my instrumentation
The first track Locked Lips, Loose Spell is great and really hooks into the EP dude, I also really like Clouds btw
wow, thanks man. we've been having a really hard time finding an audience where we're from.
Too bad you guys aren't from around my area, I think a lot of people in the scene around here would really enjoy it!
Definitely keep it up and you guys will for sure get exposure
Really appreciate the words, and to jazz guy, we actually are getting more weird. I didn't write the first album, but this second one we're doing I've done a bit of work on, more interesting song structures, textures and what not. Hopefully it'lol be more so up your valley!

Recc'd, I follow you on Soundcloud dude, you always put out great stuff and this cover is no different man
I know I said I was going to finish albums but I couldn't this time. These completely unbroken samples are extremely tiring. Do something interesting with them, be at least a little transformative.
The super amateurish minimal instrumental works in your favor here, the drums seem very muffled though. You definitely have a talent for melodies though. Maybe try using effects like EQ and distortion to make your drums sound a bit more vintage, just to go with the berlin school aesthetic you have going.
I'm listening to Far Away right now, it may be one of my favorite things i've found on here. It's really "cute" in a lot of ways. One of the albums i'm working on is pretty similar to it, synthy small sounds and pop sensibilities.

will always send a rec to Mister Pleaseance House
This is is a charming collection songs, would need to some time with it to give any real in depth thoughts, but what I've heard is nice. I do really like the fuzzy rhythm guitar tho.
I'm cool with quirky midi instruments, but I really dislike the production. That thick but short reverb tail on everything really gives the album a musky and unpleasant feeling. Your voice is better than you think, very expressive and with lots of character. You don't have to swamp it in reverb, be midiween.

But yeah, decided to stop using some stupid pun of my last name for my music. The change is probably for the better. And nah I haven't posted much in a while either, but these threads can be good fun sometimes, might get back in the habit of doing it more.

Meditations in Vagrancy: Great straight-forwarded folk. It's fun, it makes me feel like I'm watching an indie movie, watching someone wave their hand out of a car across Indiana or something. In a good way.
Jousp/Diary: I like the sound building, plus the collage at the beginning of Diary. Where did you get those samples?
Youtube videos, songs I were listening to at the time, honestly I can't name them all myself at this point. There's some gay porn in there.
Also I just listened to that track, i love how the reverb flourishes after such a dry intro. Way more glitchy/textural than I was expecting.

getting some big Mild High Club vibes from this, almost like a cross-over from MHC and Real Estate. I'm not often a big fan of modern pyscho music, but this is alright. Tho I think this has potential to grow perhaps. Vocals are very monotone, maybe try experimenting with different type of vocal patterns because they are very drawn out over the past 5 years... Also nice seeing some stuff come out of Madison.
from an experimental perspective, I enjoy this. The layout of the bandcamp is very cool too... maybe I'm distant from bandcamp but that is some good marketing you have. In a way I kinda like how this has a gritty feel to it
I still feel happy seeing you in these threads, but also concerned that you haven't gotten a more diversified crowd. Do you tour? Physical releases?
not usually a fan of alt-country, but I'm very familiar with Miami County, Ohio. Very nice to see projects pop up from cities I don't expect. Tho I'll put some advice in, don't plug your iTunes or spotify... no one here cares about that. Just provide some insight to others as well. Tho for your music, I'm enjoying this as some weird nostalgia trip. Where We Were is my favorite, I think you should follow the vibe off that song more, it is very well done.
this music is too scary to listen to after Halloween is over
now this is good, feels very early 2000. Please keep making this, gonna download. This shitty quality needs to be embraced, cassette when?

The guitar tone is great. Crunchy and sweet, like how I eat my cereal. The wooden table that photo was laid on makes a great border for the actual cover art. Probably I'm the only one who found that interesting.

Was listening to this yesterday while I was studying. It's finding finding samples I recognize, like the Arca or Aphex Twin samples in the first track. Great stuff, especially the tracks that get a good idea going and build on it.
