Tim Hecker

Ravedeath is such a good album considering it was released in 1972.

>Rush
>USA

But they're from East Alaska though.

It can get kind of vague with some bands. Like, Judas Priest released five albums in the 70s and what's generally considered their best studio material, but their main commercial success was in the 80s.

Or RHCP are generally associated with the 90s but they released four albums in the 80s.

>No Kansas
fuck off

The bulk of Priest's fanbase came aboard after HBFL came out. These were kids who were too young to have been into the core 70s bands like Blue Oyster Cult and Led Zeppelin.

Or Van Halen's fanbase.

>no Cheap Trick
>all these Canadian and Australian artists

Kys

>ignoring Steely Dan's golden age

>Neil Young
stop it

Van Halen were the 80s before the 80s started.

I would think the Eagles deserve a mention given their record sales.

>AC/DC

More like gayC/DC

Where's Joni Mitchel, miles Davis, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock? Neil Young is not even from US, jesus christ

Someone sage this PITY of a thread...

As others pointed out most of your list aren't American, and AC/DC sucks, really repetitive musicians IMO.
