I saw memes that suggest that he played well for Columbia but not so much for Real. Also Zidane doesn't rate him.

every one on Sup Forums has been talking shit about this guy non stop for the past year or so, but I fucking guarantee you he will be great next year or the year after.

Zidane doesn't like him and the midfield is way too solid with Kroos, Modric and Isco, now add to that the fact that Casemiro is showing up. Hell, Zizou even preferred putting a literal who like Lucas Vasquez instead of James for CL matches.

I think he is overrated, but for his own good he should go to any other team that will give him minutes, literally any decent team. It's just Chicharito all over again.
