Personally, I'm not impressed. Have had them less than a decade, and already, the caps are defective and won't fit.

This is my favorite pen. They don't advertise it like the G2. This pen is underground, like peanut butter m&ms. It defines me as a person.

I actually like Pilot pens. Had a shaker for a while. But then I had kids. Kids are why we cannot have nice things.
G-2 Masterrace had this pen for about 4 years now still going strong, I'd probably kill myself if I lost it
I got a Quill brand set of pens.
One ink, one mechanical pencil.

found a nice one last year. bought 4. lost 2. 1 went dry (about 10 weeks of work, cost me about 3.95) overall, very satisfied.

I'm a fountain pen guy myself, the OHTO Tasche will always have a special place in my heart, going strong and writing beautifully 2 years later. (Unfortunately no pic related because I'm on mobile)

You pay for them if you care about quality user, I personally sprung for a high quality Zippo and some medium-expensive fountain pens so I wouldn't have to steal new ones every week
