No most of Europe experienced a revolution with the rise of protestantism which was mainly about the nobels being too priviliged.
Due to protestantism the common man received way better treatment and the remaining catholics had to reform - the mentality that a noble can shit all over a peasant because god loves him more since hes richer was lost or atleast severely reduced.
France completely opposed protestantism and never went through this change, thats why the revolution happened causing multiple unnecessary wars.
