70s-90s where the only great years for music, prove me wrong.
70s-90s where the only great years for music, prove me wrong
In 3 words?
Death.
Grips.
the 00's exist
checkmate
I don't understand why you wouldn't include the 60s, which was probably the best decade for albums objectively and and fresh time for music, art and culture in general that has not been matched since
hate this shit
grow up
you sound angry for no reason
2/10 band
it's good, not great
60s were a meme
dude meme XDDDDDDddddddddD
is this what the language/discussion and critique of culture has devolved into?
>best decade for albums objectively
A petitio principii and improper use of terminology. Well done, pal.
The 1780's, you arrogant moron.
meme post tbqh
The 10s have been fucking amazing
1910 was a great year for music because that's when it started
the 60s
because the 80's sucked
...
...
90s > 60s > 00s > 70s > 80s >>>>>>>> 10s
Wrong cause the 70s were fucking shit
60s > 00s > 70s > 10s > 90s > 80s
Prove me wrong.
60-80's were better than the 70's-90's, try again
80s were objectively the worst decade for music.
late 00s are objectively the best due to sheer availability and accessibility of music, before it got memed on by streaming services like spotify
The early 80's were probably the best time for music and the the late 80's were pretty great too...certainly more great years in the 80's then the 60's
60s rock is more energetic, youthful and fun than bloated, middle-aged 70s AOR crap
>Seminal Punk and Hardcore bands
>Talking heads
>Smiths
>Tom Waits
>Talk Talk
>post-punk
>new wave
>emergence of death metal, black metal, thrash metal
>all the weird art pop and noise rock Japs were making

>post-punk
>new wave
>emergence of death metal, black metal, thrash metal
>all the weird art pop and noise rock Japs were making
>R&B
you forgot to post examples of good music
you forgot to post anything of worth
Actually i can't prove you wrong. I wholeheartedly agree.
90s>70s>80s
>not the early 20th century with the development of jazz and modernism
Man you aren't wrong. 00's were a lot of hit and miss, no "great years" in it i'd say (except maybe 2000 or 2001)
For 10's I'd say 2011, 2015, 2016 were good years. 2014 was mediocre, i mean it had some good shit but it wasn't a GOOD year for music.
