On the ballot papers there is always an option to abstain if you dont want to vote, but i dont care.

I think it's a good system. The problem is a majority of younger Australians never register, and thus conservative parties get elected. Younger Austarlians tend to be more progressive, and if they enrolled Australia's third preference party 'The Greens' would have a higher chance of being elected. This leads to the media and both major parties not campaigning for young people, because they know if young people chose to vote they'd be fucked and The Greens would be voted in.

First of all, as much as the immigrants helped building our country, the whites did the vast majority of the work.
