A demo just to get some tunes out there and get some feedback, really. Working on a full length release, big things in the work. I appreciate any feedback anyone has.
This is actually really neat stuff, like I could see this being the soundtrack to some cool indie game about the forest or a hip nature documentary. Honestly, if you work on making this a larger multimedia project I could see this going places.

Really loving the vocal samples, and melancholic melodies, great job.

Also incredibly gorgeous, loving the echo and reverb on the acoustic guitars. Also has a nice progression in between tracks. Recommending highly.

You're gonna have to at least do a little phony interaction on these threads if you want anyone to care, y'know.
Interacting with other artists shouldn't be a prerequisite for people to care about my music. it becomes less about the actual music and more about a social circle jerk of people who are "reccing" each other without even listening to an entire song.
Yes. That's exactly it. You are currently at the lowest level of fame as far as being a musician goes. You have two things you can do to get people to listen to your music:
1.) Do live shows
or
2.) Circlejerk with other amateurs online
I'm trying not to be mean here and keep an open mind, but honestly the music scene is ridiculously enormous right now, what with the way everyone can promote their stuff online. There's just TOO much music. Your stuff, for all I know, might be very good. But it's lost in the deluge of albums on the Internet.
If you listen to one second of someone's song and say "Eh, that was alright I guess," they might listen to yours. Either that or you just gotta do live shows. I'm 90% sure this is just how it works now; willing to hear an opposite opinion though.

Working on a full-length now. Full-length is probably gonna be on CD and tape. Not sure.
Because these threads never make up their mind about what they want. Artists interact with each other, and suddenly "oh the thread is just another circle jerk, I'm leaving," but god forbid there's nobody talking to anybody or it's suddenly "hey you know you have to interact with other people here, right?" and then it turns into a whole thing about the necessity of circle jerking. That's where is right. It should be about the actual music, but we all know it isn't.
Reccing doesn't work anymore, and the idea of just leaving critiques and observations obviously doesn't work because you can just put together a few vague adjectives and general criticisms and make it seem like you actually listened.
